Topic: Should I buy Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

I'm on the fence about buying it or not. I'm going to Courtland (City in NY) on Thursday and I may be able to get a new Xbox 360 game. My price limit is $30 so I thought about Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Someone needs to convince me if I should get it or something else

If your going to buy it just for the Sonic Games, no, because they are very few.
But if you want Mega Drive games in general, buy it.
It's a good deal and it's cheaper than buying them in VC for example.

It's a pretty good deal. True, a number of the games also were on the earlier Genesis collection, but I think its still worth it.

I think I'm gonna get it. I was playing the original Sonic The Hedgehog and I had so much fun playing it.

I bought it and it is a great deal. There's loads of games and addicting achievements.
If you're just looking for Sonic games these are the ones in the package...
Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Sonic The Hedgehog 3
Sonic and Knuckles
Sonic 3-D Blast
Mean Bean Machine
Sonic Spinball
And Just buying all these on the virtual console adds up to $40.

Add to that 3 Shining Force titles and 4 Phantasy Star titles, Dynamite Headdy(Treasure Game thats awesome), Shinobi 3, Ristar and a couple more really fun titles and you will definately be playing it long after you get all the achievments

Nobody has caught it yet.... .... but Vectorman 1 and 2 are also on the disc, both excellent as well.

HELL YES! It's only the greatest classic game collection in history!

Well, on paper anyway. I still haven't gotten it for myself yet lol. I feel like a sucker for getting the old Genesis Collection.

I don't even have a 360, so I can't help. I always feel like all the Wii-Only people miss out all the time

Yeah. I am going to get this as soon as I get my xbox back from my brother.

I found a PS3 copy for around $28 (3 Sega Genesis games).
I may get this as my first PS3 game (if I ever get one).
