Correction: You don't need 7 versions of MVC and SFIV (like they'll ever go that far anyways). And no one's forcing you to buy it, either. If no one wants it, they'll stop making them. But people do want them to make it, so they will be making them.
Still no Megaman... ... /me cries I think Capcom might be trying to kill off Megaman actually. After Infaune left, Megaman hasn't made any appearances...
Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed by the roster... They're just putting in characters that should have been in the game originally. I think they left a bunch of characters out just so that fans would buy Ultimate MvC3 also. And even then, I'm still not blown away by the characters that they're including. I haven't heard of half of the Marvel characters and they have the most stereotypical designs ever. Vergil is probably going to be a clone of Dante and Hawkeye will probably be a clone of Taskmaster. And interesting enough, Strider looks like a clone of X-23...
But worst of all, is the fact that I'm still going to buy it

mkay. But, nobody is talking about Phoenix? I mean, seriously, how'll he fight? Say "OBJECTION!" and poke someone's eye out? Throw a knife from the crime scene and say "TAKE THAT!" Say "HOLD IT!" and freeze time? Maybe call help from Godot to throw hot coffee on their faces? No idea how he'll beat the Hulk, but at least he's in there(?).

Sorry, but the full character list has already been revealed and none of them are in... I doubt that they'll be DLC either... Maybe they'll be included in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Arcade Edition!

Haha, well. That's likely. The next edition. If this game is an update that costs $20-30 if you have the original game, then I guess it's worth it. Glad to see Frank West back. And Phoenix Wright- it's unexpected considering that lots of people wanted him in TvC but it could not be done because one of his attacks would be yelling out "Objection!" which is different in length in Japanese characters..
I don't know. I'd honestly rather have Capcom focus on releasing Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth 2 to the United States, But maybe it would be good for cameo appearances so it can get more fanbase for the franchise and results in more Ace Attorney games being released!

The standard price for a single DLC character in MvC3 is $5.
So 12 new characters x $5 each if it was DLC.
No idea how he'll beat the Hulk, but at least he's in there(?).
My idea is that he can summon helpers like Captain Commando could and MvC2 Jill could. Godot with a sword, Fransizka with her whip, Manfred with his taser, Iris with the Shichishito... His Super could be Dahlia's demon form.
