I hate it when they say, "it was a success, but it could have done better." HOW INFLATED IS YOUR BUDGET WHEN STUFF LIKE REVELATIONS ISN'T A SUCCESS? (just like with Tomb Raider, and others)

That's Capcom. They complained about Zack & Wiki only selling 450.000 copies. They expected it to sell 80 million copies.
Anyway, if it comes to WiiU/3DS I'll be glad, if it doesn't it's alright anyway - for me this serie stopped being interesting like 14 years ago.

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

The 3DS version sold 780,000 units all console & PC versions combined sold 1,100,000 units.

Guess I was wrong then, but then again with it being exclusive for a while helped the sales no doubt. (knew a guy who bought a 3DS just to play the game)

The only way they would do a 3DS version is if it was developed for that platform first. They aren't going to develop it primarily for the PS360 and then hose it down so that it can run on 3DS.

I agree and even if they did it would probably suck anyway.

Revelations is still by far the best looking game on 3DS and my main reason for owning a circle pad pro XL. It would be great to see what Capcom could do with a sequel on 3DS...but it looks like the box art was for 360 so who knows.

The sales numbers someone one posted would make me think a 3DS version ported to consoles might make the most sense though. It depends if Capcom wants to focus on the 3DS

Let me get this straight.... One of the biggest reasons why Capcom is even alive right now is because of how well Monster Hunter sells on 3DS. Mega Man is getting love in Smash Bros. Resident Evil: Revelations was a hit on 3DS and alot of people enjoyed it. So instead of showing Nintendo and the fanbase gratitude... we don't get Resident Evil or even Street Fighter?!?!?!?!?!

Sounds about right this is what I mean Nintendo is not doing anything to change.....

I wanna probe this statement. What exactly do you want Nintendo to do? Lose money for a "multiplatform" release so that you can have the game?

See lets all be real here, yes they should because if your thinking that Nintendo will only do OK on its own by only releasing First-party titles then you are sadly mistaking. That's what a lot of us hardcore Nintendo fans think. Nintendo doesn't seems to be doing there job, if they talk to 3rd-parties about how the WiiU is different then others. Which I'm pretty sure they can. Or at least do something. First it was EA, then Ubisoft, then Capcom. I can imagine others following along the path as well. So Nintendo is at fault. I stand by on what I just said.....THEY ARE AT FAULT

I agree on what you just said, I highly doubt this will ever see Nintendo Land. But we're getting ahead of ourself. Capcom hasn't said anything yet so we just have to sit back and play the waiting game.

They'll skip Nintendo despite the First game selling SUPER well on the 3DS and None of Capcom's games on WiiU have truly flopped if I recall.

Capcom have only released Ducktales, Resident Evil Revelations and Monster Hunter on it tho so you can't realy judge.

Capcom has also released Multiple Virtual Console titles, like Final Fight, Megaman, and Street Fighter, heck Street Fighter Alpha 2 was trending for awhile...and yet Capcom can't be bothered to put Street Fighter IV on the console? Really?

In anycase I hope you see my point.

The first game was amazing but only because of the 3DS. When I played the demo on the Wii U, I thought it was much inferior. So they really should develop for the 3DS, where it also sold best.

... so basically the console where it sold the best may or may not be getting the sequel. Some companies deserve to fail.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is all because Nintendo isn't money-hatting for it. They got MH4 as an exclusive for the 3DS because Nintendo paid for it. MS is getting the new TR as a timed exclusive because they paid for it. It's not even about whether it will sell or not anymore. It's about who will pay top dollar for it. The 3rd-parties are basically auctioning themselves off as 2nd-party developers for each game.

It's official, all systems execpt WiiU and 3Ds, I'm honestly dissapointed at this. Skipping over the system that made the first a succes, even if the 3Ds couldn't handle it a WiiU version would have been nice. Guess Capcom is run by idiots

Not really. The first one sold the most on the 3DS but the system isn't powerful enough, as Capcom seems to be treating this like a mainline game with revelations being more horror and the main series being actiony.

The Wii U skipping it sucks, but Capcom is betting they can make up the loss over five other platforms.

They are spending the time and money porting this to every platform except WII U..... It will not cost to port it to the WII U as well would be tiny as they are already porting it to other platforms they must consider releasing on the WII U as ZERO return.

Unless Nintendo got it as an exclusive, they really shouldn't money-hat it. I don't get why anyone thinks throwing money around is the solution to every problem...
