This looks really interesting. I'm not really sold on the gameplay ideas — yet — but the premise and everything else has definitely piqued my interest.
I at least had something of value to say despite instantly not caring about this game's existance when I found out it was iPhone game.
That the idea of FEAR being in the same sentence as 2 of the most popular series of all time is just really funny. It helps that FEAR is only somewhat less of a joke series to me than Killzone.
I don't have an iPad, and the ideas they're listing for the project seem too ambitious to work out, but that doesn't matter - the whole point of this Kickstarter is to prove whether or not there's an audience for serious games on iOS. If this works out, we could see more games like this on tablet devices, and maybe even downloadable platforms in general. Needless to say, I'm interested to see where this goes.

FEAR was a rather different sort of beast when it came out. The series has gone downhill definitely, but the original FEAR still has that classic feel to it that makes me want to play it again. And the feel! The game just feels so smooth and satisfying! Certainly plays better than Halo has so far.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

Indeed, the original FEAR was actually quite unique and fun. I think a lot of people hate it just because they're those "horror game purists" who automatically hate any horror game the instant combat is involved.
Also, if you truly don't care about this games existence, slider, why did you comment TWICE about how much you don't care?
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

I already explained why. The idea of FEAR being on the same level as Halo and MGS in terms of popularity or relevence made me laugh.

I'm also unsure why you said you "At least had something of value to say...". How was what everyone else was saying less valuable than you bashing FEAR?
Also, you know full well everyone wanted a Night Trap sequel.
