Going to get a Psp 3000 sometime this week, along with Peace Walker and a couple other games, can't wait
What other games?
Make sure to pick up a memory stick, otherwise you can't save. Go with like 4GB unless you plan on buying PSN games, then I would go with like 16GB+ you haven't played MGS3 yet. why are you getting PW ;___;

The bundle I'm buying comes with a 2gb card, so I'll defintely make sure to pick up at least an 8gb in the near future, lol D: or like a billion 2gb cards if that will be cheaper >.> The games are coming with the system, as I'm buying it 'lightly used' from some guy near me. craigslist ftw =P It comes with: God of War Chains of Olympus, God of War Ghost of Sparta, LittleBigPlanet, Medal of Honor: Something-or-other, and 2012 UMD movie and PW ofc . So it's basically the green MGS PSP bundle with extras
Just so everyone knows, PSN has a sale on all NIS games, some as low as $5.99. XSEED, on the other habd has permenantly dropped the price of several games including Ys Seven, Oath in Felghana, and Lunar Silver Star Harmony. So yeah, some must get games are now cheap. Have at it.

Thinking of getting a used PSP. While my 3DS is going to be my on go console looking to get a psp as a home only deal to compliment my 360 and have a few questions.
1) what models work with a HDMI port or componet cables? could you reccomend any good ones?
2) Going to be mostly playing RPG's and PS1 classics so any recomedations (other genre's are welcome)
3) does the PSP PSN have any thing like DSiware and 3DSware. (could I play fat princess on psp)
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.

1) 1000, 2000, 3000. The Sony Brand cables should work fine, they did for me.
2) Too many too list. You picked a good platform for those. For RPGs, just stay away from anything made by Neverland or Idea Factory and you should be fine. For PSOne games, just avoid the FPSes like Medal of Honor and Spec-ops. Most everything else is actually pretty good (assuming you're used to playing older games like them), especially the RPGs.
3) What Waltz said. Not only do they have PSN-only content like Fat Princess, they also have full PSP games that you can download, and PS Minis, which are more like the little DSiWare games, but, well, better.

While I agree with this, I think you've got yourself confused about Neverland. I don't believe the development company, Neverland, has made a PSP game.
It's confusing because Idea Factory has a label called Neverland, which the rather poor Generation of Chaos falls into, but Neverland the developer is a very good quality one that is behind the Rune Factory, Lufia, and a few Shining Force games.
No PSP games yet. Which is a pity, Rune Factory PSP would be great.

Just a heads up for Visual Novel Fans, apparently Hakuoki is a good game. Ironically, it's also Idea Factory's only good game. I'll have to look into this more.
I just dig my PSP our recently. I really didn’t play it as much when it was still relevant. I stuck with the same handful of games. Now I’m wanting to get some must have games for it. I still can’t believe this thing is 14 years old. It really looks like a recent piece of hardware.
