Topic: Play Date

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows:
From a factory reset do you need to connect the Play Date online to do anything with it?
Or can you use it fully offline to side load other games?

@mrjelly We can't really discuss modding and such here, best thing is try Google for your answer.

@Tasuki I don't have one so don't know the answer to the question, but they're actually designed to allow sideloading of games so it's not really modding in an illegal sense.

Well just to conclude, I emailed their support email.
It does require a one off online activation to load, then can side-load etc.
