Has anyone else tried PixelJunk 4am? It's not for everyone, but if you want to feel like you're awesome at making music then it's definitely worth a try. I'd also have to say it features some of the best use of the Move controller so far. Definitely worth the price of admission if you're into this type of thing (there's no demo unfortunately, but you can download the free Live Viewer to watch others play and see how the game looks like in action).

Why does Sony fail al much at marketing. Went to lick up sorcery for my little cousins birthday. Ecuase he likes zelda and fable but the guys didn't even know that it came out this month. Seems like this could have been a good chance to raise awareness of the move.

Thanks Aviator.

I'm going to sit down and play it later this week since I'm going to very busy with work and family for the next few days. I'll post my impressions of it as soon as I beat it.

Just for you.

I heard your partners are annoying but you can mute them. Otherwise it sounds as great as I was expecting. I'll pick it up next year along with a bunch of other games I can't afford right now.

I really don't know, but your dang right. I saw Sorcery on the shelf at Walmart last week, and I didn't even realize it was already out. No up front poster walking into the store, not poster back in electronics... nothing. Sony, here's your #fail from me!

@Mickeymac Yep, and Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention came with ALL the DLC too! What does kinda suck though, is that I got Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars (3DS) in yesterday, and I desperately want to play it, but I can't be playing two TRPG's at once! I mean, that's just not a right thing to do.

@Rockgamer I want to get it now, but I am absolutely slammed with too much to play!

I'm not surprised. You don't like Xenoblade Chronicles (which is a fantastic game) and you don't like Dragon's Dogma (which I bought and will play it whenever I decide to get back on PSN). Why did I buy it despite my hatred of Capcom? Well, because the game looks interesting. Maybe I made a big mistake, but I highly doubt it. If nothing else, it should provide me open world gameplay goodness without glitching up constantly like Skyrim did.

Face it guys, Capcom is the antichrist.

I don't like Xenoblade? I'm pretty sure I've been consistent with saying it was a good game that I didn't think was nearly as brilliant as other people seem to think it is. I still scored it 3.5/5, which is close enough to the scores I gave Amalur and Skyrim (4, each).

The Last Story is the terrible one. I did not like that game at all.

My problem with Dragon's Dogma is I can see where this game came from.

Capcom director sits down and plays Demon's Souls. He likes Demon's Souls.

Demon's Souls sells well. Dark Souls sells even better.

Hallelujah.

shingi_70

Is that so bad. I personally don't enjoy the soils games though I see the appeal. And I was kind pf jiffy on skyrim but dragons dogma seemed to be a mix of both and ive liked what's I have played of the demo. But then I do like the press A to awesome fable series.

@waltz

I personally don't see why that should stop you from enjoying the game...

Also, Suikoden is in my iPod's dictionary. Out of all the words it should know, Suikoden made it in there. Wow...

Like him? No. Love him? Yes.

But what does that have to do with anything?

I expected more. Dragon's Dogma is a very second-tier game in the end - inferior to the tier-1 open world RPGs (Skyrim, Xenoblade, Amalur, Dark Souls). I went in expecting Monster Hunter meets Souls, and I got a game that was a shadow of both. It's still enjoyable, but I'll be likely scoring it around 3/5.

So you're essentially saying that you dislike Dragon's Dogma because it could potentially have copied gameplay elements from another game? Well, I thought someone like you who knows the gaming industry so well would know that a LOT of games copy each other on a regular basis. Sonic copies (and in some games surpasses) Mario, Uncharted copies Tomb Raider, Crash Team Racing copies Mario Kart, Playstation All-Stars copies Super Smash Bros., and Radiant Historia copies Chrono Trigger. Are those games automatically bad because they POSSIBLY copied from other games? Of course not. ''Copying'' or being inspired by another game doesn't make said game bad or mediocre. It could either be better or worse than the game it copies from, but that depends on if said game is fun or not, regardless of originality.

And I must have misread your comments about Xenoblade, so my bad.

Oh, I have no problem with copying. I just expect people to make the game better in the process. If you don't improve on the formula then you've made an average game. By the very definition of the word.

Average games can be fun. They can't be great. "Average" and "Great" are mutually exclusive terms.

Dragon's Dogma hasn't improved on any formula.

Personally looking forward to Dragons Dogma. Having watched quite a few videos ,played the demo and read numerous reviews I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. The lack of character and story is a plus in my eyes, if it would have been like KoA then I would rather leave story to a minimum. Basically this game is going to give me what I've wanted for a while, an openworld fantasy game with excellent combat and giant monsters to slay. I like the idea that there is no compass, fast travel etc and the nighttime thing sounds great. I think it will all add to the sense of trepidation and adventure. I like games where you can use your imagination while playing instead of being force fed cut scenes every 10mins. Anyway cannot wait for tomorrow!!

What's this bit for again?

I just beat Mass Effect 2 on insanity and got the platinum trophy.

The suicide mission was brutal, not the boss so much but getting to him was a pain.
