I think I'd like Motorstorm. Maybe I could get Pacific Rift and Resistance 1 or 2 and play both. @Aviator If you mean Arkham City, I already have it on my Xbox 360.

Try the Demos for me Pacific Rift controlled way better than Apocalypse.

Anybody else playing PS3 games in 3D? If so, what do you think and what games? I just got Arkham City for Christmas and haven't got very far yet but it definitely adds a whole "new dimension" to video gaming literally.

I just got InFamous 2 and Heavy Rain, and I have to say Heavy Rain has become one of my favorite games of all time. Since I enjoy mysteries and thrillers (both in novel and movie form.), it hit a sweet spot and I've enjoyed every minute I have spent on it. I just think it's a shame that we didn't get more of the DLC Chronicles, I liked the chapter that I played. More of the universe would have been awesome.

Arkham City is very overrated imo. Still a good game, but it has a number of issues that keep me from considering it 'perfect game' material. Of course I'll have to beat it to make a proper judgement of it, but so far, that's my impressions of it.

Yeah, I've heard from quite a few people that Arkham City isn't as good as Arkham Asylum. I haven't played either, but I have a feeling that I'd like AA more.

Mark Hamil's voice acting for the Joker is reason alone to get both Batman games.

Would be interested in hearing some of the issues? How does it compare to Arkham Asylum in your opinion?

I'm not even a big fan of platformers, and I enjoyed the 30 minutes that I played of Rayman Origins. That was just a rental, though.

For Christmas I got King of Fighters XIII, which is so far one of the greatest fighting games I've played in a long time (and I've played some great Fighting games recently), as well as God of War III (which I'll probably never play).

Preordered the Collector's Edition of FFXIII-2 today

Hope (punny!) the 4-disc soundtrack was worth it. From what I've heard so far, XIII-2's soundtrack won't be as good as XIII's.

I was on the fence when I beat Arkham City, but I found that once you start really chipping away at all the side content (Identity Killer, The Watcher, The Riddler quests), a new layer of depth is peeled back. I spent most of the game soaring over the skyline, but once I was forced onto the sidewalks to look for trophies and evidence, I started to see all the nuances that give Gotham and the Batman mythology its unique style and world. Basil Karlo movie posters and other relics left over from Batman's Year One era. The easter eggs like Calendar Man and Crime Alley (I'll leave it at that) are all worth seeking out and experiencing.

Final Verdict: Arkham City is not perfect, but the way the game unfolds its discoveries at a pace decided by the player alone is novel and unique. It demands a full playthrough if the player really wants the experience Rocksteady intended, with all its genius brushstrokes tucked away in corners waiting to be explored.

So you have a 3D TV but no HDMI cable? Did you contact Sony about the black and white issue?

I'm really looking forward to it too bonesy91. It's my "next big thing" since I've nearly milked Skyrim for all it's worth.
