One last thing and then I'm off to bed, but don't be surprised if things are much tighter on PSN when it comes back up. I wouldn't be surprised if you have to re-download all of your PSN games again because of adding 'Keys' into the games to lock them to your account. Game-sharing will probably be tightened, and I hope that all of the accounts have been deactivated - as two of slots my main account has already been hacked into and lost in the last two years.

It's just something I've heard, but we will see.

@Slapshot, about game sharing... Is it a bad thing? My cousin wanted to do it with me for a certain game he had on his old PS3 before it got Yellow Light (he doesn't have his old account either) but I don't know if its a good or bad thing.

Yeah, this has turned into a very big mess for Sony and it's customers. It went from being a minor inconvenience to being extremely serious. I really want the PSN up and running again but right now I'm more concerned that our personal information has been compromised. I just hope that all of our account information is safe and secure. I guess that I will be sticking to PSN cards from now on.

God I hope so. Open systems are anathemia for corporations. I'd rather those that want "open" systems to stick to their Linuxes, and Sony/ Apple/ Microsoft/ Nintendo products remain closed and safe (or at least, aiming for safety) for those of us that don't want to deal with hackers.

They did, but what is actually secure? Microsoft got hacked awhile back and it shut down their servers for 11 days, and Nintendo's DS has been hacked to death right beside the PSP. Nothing is safe from these hackers! If you build it, they will Eventually find a way to hack into it!

Let's not forget the dude in Spain that made off with a bunch of credit card numbers from hacking the Wii.

But it's cool to hate on Sony, that's the difference.

I know I said this in the other thread, but XBL has never been down for 11 days at once. Also, I'm pretty sure it's cooler to hate on Microsoft. Not for the 360, but for them being Microsoft. It's even cooler to hate on Nintendo for being top dog.

I'm just glad Microsoft was 'mature' with their statement about PSN being down- though, at the end of that statement, I chuckled "we'll see more traffic in Xbox Live as most people own both systems".

I'm being real: If Sony made a statement about LIVE being down, they'd be immature and rant on about how PSN is superior and Sony is perfect. I feel like Sony hires the wrong people sometimes (jacktretton)...

Anyhow, I hope they fix things soon. Glad they are rebuilding the system so this doesn't happen again. I have to give them props on that. It's just some people complaining and bashing Sony and feel like Sony OWES them a free game.

That's a joke for obvious reasons.

I want someone to use to card information just so the law can get to them quicker. Doubt they are brave enough.

Amazing game, the only problem I had with it was the difficulty level. Some missions left me cursing constantly. I ended up not finishing the game because I found it too hard, sadly.

I'm glad to hear you say that, honestly. I was stuck on one particular mission for an hour today, and I'm already stuck on another one. The checkpoints are just unbearably unfair!

That reads nothing at all like any Sony Press Release I've ever seen.

Not really press, but the comments. There are many. Mostly, it's the 'wrong' people who should be talking. Evidence is all over.

For example: When the Wii was out and about and hip hop in 2007, Sony attacked the system and pretty much hated on 'motion controls'- mind you, they were apparently developing motion controls for awhile on the PS3- APPARENTLY.

Microsoft, on the other hand, commended Nintendo's interesting approach and was much more 'mature' in sharing their thoughts about it. Oh and in E3 2006, I remember Peter Moore saying "People are going to buy two systems- it's the 360 and Wii for the price of a PS3" and guess what 'random' Sony rep said? "They're going to buy and PS3 and Wii", like a 'Hey! Me too!'

Then Jack Tretton's petty comment and criticizing Nintendo and Microsoft for '"Losing steam" and bashing Nintendo's motion controls as if the Wii Motion Plus wasn't even around... And the fact he pretty much insulted Sony itself. The man is a walking contradiction. Oh, and remember when Sony was losing stocks on PS3 back then? Guess what? Jack denied it when evidence was RIGHT in his face and he dodged straight forward questions and pretty much talking as if Sony is perfect.

I question why he's even a president if he cannot be 'real' about things. I'm not trying to bash Sony necessarily but just elaborating what I meant by that comment. There's more instances. But like I said, its the WRONG people talking. Very few people who comment say 'realistic' things and there should be more out there. There are people plaguing Sony's image and everyone thinks that's the way Sony thinks- when it's not.

Down with Tretton and his arrogant childish comments that is just irrelevant. I don't know how the Gameboy was brought up. He disrespected the whole industry because of that petty comment. He sounds like he uses video games to define his manhood. That's just weird and silly. But that's neither here or there and I'm ranting on.

Anyhow, the good news for PSN is that apparently features will be working next week. But not ALL at the same time. I wonder what happens to trophies and friend's list. Doubting anything happened to them, but it's one to kinda worry about. Not as much as the personal info though.

I'm about 3 or 4 hours into Nier, and really enjoying it so far (besides the fact that they've gone overboard with the bloom). I'm learning to fish at the moment, and I can't believe how many tin cans there are in the ocean! Also, I've seen it mentioned that the music is great. I haven't heard too many songs, but the song in the Northern Plains area is great, and sticks in my head. I'm not sure what she's singing about, but it sounds great.

Also, I thought the voice of Wiess sounded familiar, so I looked it up, and it turns out it's the same person as the voice of War in Darksiders, the game I was playing before this. He must get around.

Im worried about my accounts period .Its in limbo i guess.My phat is dead and Slim is bare .My concern is will i even be able to transfer my account to my slim concidering all thats happend with psn? My phat died at the most worst possible time i give it that .Sad part is i had my credit card tied directly to my psn accounts but im not even concerned. I haven't doubted sony regarding my personal information, because im forgiving and believe its the hackers fault. I dont think hackers were after our information anyway because the attack was aimed at Sony. But then again i could be wrong ,I think they were just using that custom firmware to trick PSN to get free sh*t. I will sleep easy as soon as i get all this account stuff straight its got me on edge but there isnt much i can do until psn is up and running.

Fuzzy - I think Nier's music is my favorite music soundtrack of all, to be honest. It's so operatic.

Also the dude that voices the book - Liam something or other - has done like 50 games. He has to be the most prolific voice actor there is. Look him up on Wikipedia... You'll see he's done more games that you've played.

Sometimes his voice doesn't work for a game, but with Nier... It's perfect.

Ive heard rumors that Square Enix is planning a Nier 2. It won't be Cavia developing obviously but I'm so in for that!

Is call of the dead an expansion or a full solo disc game? Looks like L4D?

It's the zombie map in the new Blops map pack. And it looks awesome!

@WaveBoy
Saw that epic trailer yesterday. I'm not a huge CoD fan but that right there was the baddest trailer I've seen. I absolutely love the recent Grindhouse movies so I knew I was in for a treat as soon as the grindhouse intro started. The actors and George Romero just add to the . I think I might have to get CoD blops just for this.

@Kid_A
I love GTA4 though I still have yet to finish it. I had to restart my game twice so it got a little tedious. It's a great game but I hate having to drive to missions all the time. They should really allow you to use a car and have it reappear in your garage if it blows up or something. I already have the dlc downloaded but I still want to finish the Niko story before moving on. I've never played a single online game though.
