What PS3 games have good stories?

Uncharted 2 seems to have a decent story, but I am only on the second level because I just got a PS3 yesterday on Christmas.

.... Oh, I ordered NFS Hot Pursuit and it will be here on Wednesday. I somehow missed the fact that its developed by Criterion so the game is literally Burnout/Need for Speed all-in-one.

I have the God of war collection because I bought the Gamestop bundle and I thought I'd try them out. Honestly, huge let downs, but I should have seen this coming. The combat is a bit too simple and the Greek god thing isn't my favorite. However, if you like hack and slashers, beat em' ups, or quick time events then I'd give it a try. The game truly does have some EPIC set pieces. I'd pick up the GoW collection, it's pretty cheep. It's actually not bad in short bursts for some good mindless fun. I'd pick up inFAMOUS, beat that game in 2 days. Then again, I just love the Sly series so.....

Had the PS3 since christmas day and so far, I'm enjoying every last bit of it. I'm looking forward to buying a racing game thats both fun for solo and local/online play. I have relatives that visit my house every week and I want to ask you guys, What would be a better pick? Modnation racers since some of them are casual players, GT5 since the others love some realistic driving sim, or Blur for those who want something in between?

My mom got herself an HDTV a couple months ago and has been needing a dvd player. I take my PS3 over from time to time and found that she really liked the casual games like Flower, Zen Pinball, & High Velocity Bowling so I decided to get her a new Slim for Christmas. I knew she'd like it but I didn't think she'd flip over it. She was under the impression she was opening up new dishes when she realized it was a PS3. She immediately jumped up off the couch to hug and thank me. The look on her face was priceless. I honestly think she was more excited than when I got my first PS3.

To anyone interested, Sly Cooper Collection, RDR: Undead Nightmare, and GTA IV Complete are all $20 this week at select N.A. K-marts. I picked up Sly for myself, would've got the other twobut I'm saving the rest of my money for vacation and March.

Whoah! Thanks for the heads up. I can only hope I can pick up the complete GTA4 disc before they're all gone at that price. I already have the Sly Collection and I'm hoping there will eventually be a RDR GOTY edition.

Anyonw know how the story in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is? Like, is it funny and clever and whatnot?

If I do get it, that's a total of 4 (5 if you count Sonic Adventure) PS3 games I get in one week. And I've only had two (well, again 5 if you count Flower, MM9 & 10) since I got the console in July O.o

@SilentJ... nice, I had to buy a second PS3 myself, because my wife kept my PS3 tied up with BDs all the time. I literally got off work, went to Best Buy and bought it, went home and walked in the door and just handed it too her.

@Karakato.... Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is getting Perfect Scores by many reviewers and is absolutely insane. GT5 is amazing as well if your a car/gear junkie, so if your like me and bounce off the walls at buying a 1969 Corvette Stingray and dropping a Supercharger in it and tinkering with the Gear Ratios until you have it just right to mow past Ferrari and Lamborghinis then you will love it.

I have some good news:

I can confirm that I am getting a PS3. Today, me and my grandfather ordered a 160 GB Playstation 3 online with Singstar and Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time, which cost $299.99. We also ordered Gran Turismo 5 for the Playstation 3, which we got for $53.99, neither with shipping. Should be arriving sometimes between January 4, 2011 and January 7, 2011.

BTW, should I get a PSN ID now or should I wait until I get my PS3?

I got mine before, but it doesn't matter really.

I also finished signing up for PSN. I'm relieved that you can used a PSN card instead of a credit card. That is convient and I don't have to involve credit card in it.

Hey guys, havent posted on here in a while but i got NFS hot pursuit, Skate 3, and 40$ of PSN money along with starcraft 2 for christmas. honestly i HAVE to recommend NFS hot pursuit, especially if youre into online multiplayer cause the 4v4 cops vs racers is insanely crazy and fun to play so....get it

I bought 3d Dot Game Heroes Today and Burnout Paradise. I ordered 3d Dot Game Heroes on Amazon for $14.99, but I decided to buy it at Gamestop with the B2G1 deal. I will sell the other copy once I get it.
