@slap - thanks a lot. Now in gonna try and see how many games I can get for $5. . I've never played portal so will def give that a go.

Portal is Amazing. I actually just finished it a few weeks back.

Yeah I've heard that. Seeing as the sequel is supposed to be coming soon, I might as well jump on the bandwagon now.

@Stro - actually got Indigo on a steam sale last year for 5 bucks. Great game...no Heavy Rain (but what is!?) but still a ton of fun and very interesting.

On the PS1 side of things, I have to recommend Alundra. I never played it back in the day (always looked interesting) but I bought it the other day on a whim and have been playing it on PSP...it's pretty awesome! Very SNES-Zelda...and that's never a bad thing. Working Designs did the translation too, so it seems lightyears ahead of 1997.

So, any PS3 games you guys hope to get for Christmas? I'm expecting Call of Duty 4, The Sly Collection, and Valkyrie Chronicles.

It's pretty bad when you expect what you're getting for your Christmas gift. But is it bad when you "accidentally" saw the recently purchased items on your dad's amazon account?

Sonic Adventure is only $4.99 so I'll be picking that up. DX DLC is only $1.99 now also.

Crystal Defenders $9.99. One week later, $4.99

See Sonic Rivals 2 on PSN for only $14.99 one week. Get a PSN card one month later, and then its $34.99. Buy it. Next day its on sale for for $14.99.

Well some of the store is updated. Sonic 4 Episode 1 is only $7.49 for Plus members, and Sonic Adventures is $4.99 as well.

Yea this week's sales and discounts are making my head spin, I will be buying sonic adventure and the DLC for sure and episode 1 . I've got my eye on Shank because it got a price cut. Eat Them! looks freaking sweet, but no online play???Out of all the psn games that have online, this one could have been epic and i would have bought it day one .N.O.V.A. on psp minis looks good as well.A space shooter for 2 bucks got a good review so im tempted to buy it and put them both on mys ps3 and psp. I'm not interested in any of the Neo Geo titles though.

@turtlelink I would recommend only buying psn games on Tuesdays,Its saved me Tons of money .I wont buy a game in the Middle or end of the week because a game could go on sale LOL. I cant believe i missed the death spank sale, i could have saved seven bucks ouch...

Hooray for this huge sale! I can finally get Sonic 4 at a price that I can live with. I will also be picking up the Strongbad games on PSN for only $15. I was tempted to get them on WiiWare but I just never got around to it. I sure am glad that I waited.

Did anyone here get the X-Men Arcade game? I want to download it and was hoping to find someone that I could play with online.

@WolfRamHeart: If no one is going to get it for the PS3, I plan on getting it for the 360 the week after Christmas. I can't wait to get a new PS3 to get that game.

I can't wait for the PSN card my sister got me for Christmas. I really just want Pacman Championship DX and Sonic 4 before the sale goes away. Anyone have that pacman game anyway?

lol, my sister never knows what to get me and this year she let me pick it out at a local game store and I just settled on a PSN card since I couldn't find 3D Dot Game Heroes, but then I saw U2 used for $30 so I talked her into buying it even though it had a scratch on the back of the case so now I just have to wait a couple more days.

The GOTY edition (I think that's what is was) was $10 more, and had not only a scratch-free case, but the art also looked better. Sadly I couldn't talk her into spending that much on me
Ah well, the scratched case will have to do for now, as long as the 'effing game works

You can't find 3D Dot Game Heroes either? The only time I see that game is when I don't have any/enough money on me.

@turtle: Yep, couldn't find it at Walmart, Target, Gamestop, or that local game store I was talking about. I did see it at Best Buy one day, but the price was too high for what I wanted to pay.

I snatched Sonic 4 and Sonic Adventures on the real cheap on the European store as I had some money left on that account. Also grabbed Pixel Junk Shooter for like three euro as well.

This is totally off topic but I just got Resonance of Fate as an early Christmas gift, I wondered how it is. By the way I do love JRPG's. PS3 Rpg's I have are: FFXIII, Borderlands, and Whitle Knight Chronicles. I read that Resonance has a "hard" combat system to learn but that and the story are pretty addictive. So how is it?
