i will be getting cod classic and pj shotoer today is it actually really good

Ill be getting Pixeljunk Shooter as well..... Does anyone have Gravity Crash. Its actually a lot of fun. The level editor is fun, I made a really cool level last night and it didnt take hours like LBP so thats cool.

A demo for any Psn game is recommended before a purchase ,but as a fan of double dragon i had to buy it lol. I really want to take the plunge and just buy Pixel Junk Shooter but im not a fan of shooters so i will wait til the demo comes out. I think Pixel Junk Dungeon will be the one i download though something tells me i will like that one.

@slapshot : Do you have any published levels for LBP yet ? If you do post them as i would like to play them. I've been working on mine for 3 months, I'm really trying to make something worthy but my level will focus on platforming and not so much flashy stuff.

For the record... NOW I'm actually in possession of previously mentioned PS3 (and it's so purty!) so now my username will work!

PixelJunk Dungeon? I haven't heard that title before! Is that real and confirmed, or are you speculating on something?

@odd..... Yep, I got a few LBP levels published already, I actually sold my copy of LBP to get Uncharted 2, but my brother has the Game of the Year Edition I can borrow if ever needed. Fun game but I kinda got tired of it after played it for months. Kinda happens with every game though lol.

PixelJunk Dungeons was originally supposed to be PixelJunk 1-4, but it took more time, so now Shooter is 1-4. Dungeons has not had any screenshots, video, or information released, only that it will feature dungeons of some kind. I also read in an article that they are looking to incorporate 3D some time, though I don't think they were referring to Dungeons. I hope not, anyway. I can't see why they'd want to incorporate 3D into a series with "Pixel" in its title, anyway. Seems counter to the series' mission.

But back to Shooter, I played a bit more of it, and it's pretty good, but like Eden, I find it a bit slow. The sound and visuals are all right but not amazing like Eden. There's also a story this time around... who knows why. It seems pretty pointless so far, the story. Keep in mind this is only after playing the first three or four levels.

Pretty cool series overall. If they could match the quality of Monsters's game play with the experimental presentation of Eden, they would really have something on their hands. In some ways it's PSN's Art Style, though with obvious differences.

Edit: Played through the first world (which includes a boss) and the first level of the next world. It's a kind of game that I think I force myself to like. It's really slow paced, and a tiny mistake can kill you, making you do the level over, which is super annoying. It looks very pretty though, haha. This game isn't going to top Monsters for anyone, I don't think, but it's all right.

I got Gravity Crash & I love it. The controls took some getting used to but it's so much fun. I don't see myself making any levels soon but I'll try yours out.

I'll probably join you on Resistance 2 if you're still playing in January. My friend let me borrow COD4 MW so I'll be playing that for the next month or so. Revenge of the Wounded Dragons sounds cool but I'll have to wait for it to go on sale. I've spent way too much on PSN games recently.

I loved playing Frogger on my Atari as a kid so I just had to get it on the PSN. I haven't really played it too much but I noticed it only has 4 freakin' trophies. That's pretty lame considering all the trophies you get with Linger in Shadows & .detuned. I'll be sending out some friend requests later today.

Have any of you tried the demo for Dante's Inferno? I liked it better than Bayonetta. I'll be picking up my copy along with the extra stuff included in the PS3 version.

Keep in mind that while Frogger Returns only has four Trophies, three of them are Gold. It actually adds up to the usual experience value for a PSN game.

I hadn't even checked if they were bronze or not. Three gold and one silver is good for a psn game.

Yeah and if you want to really trohy whore them, you can put it on Time Attack and get them all in like 10 minutes with Unlimited Lives, or so I read on PS3 Trophies lol. Looks like a lot of fun, I actually enjoyed the Frogger Remake on PSX years back.

Just finished Ninja Gaiden Sigma..... if any game needs a Platinum just for finishing the game on Normal its this one. Man what a tough but great game. Cant wait to play the next one.

So which is better Infamous or Avatar I am leaning toward Avatar right now since it has 2 different stories each 20 plus hours

Also I don't know if i should get pj shooter or flower or revenge of the wounded dragons or lemmings

Avatar = movie game

inFamous = not movie game

..... I picked up Borderlands, Ratchet and Clank Future A Crack in Time and Soul Calibur 4 today, Toys R Us is running a Buy One get One HALF OFF today and that is a killer deal. Borderlands for $30 bucks aint bad at all. Course Im looking at a couple of weeks to play them, game I know Ive gotten so far for Christmas.....

I can't believe you'd even consider getting Avatar over inFAMOUS. From the reviews I've seen, Avatar is a rental at best. inFAMOUS, on the other hand, is a contender for GOTY. The only PSN game I've actually played from your list is Flower. It was a pretty cool experience but there's not much replay value. I still think PS3 owners should try it out but I would wait for it to go on sale again. PJ Shooter looks awesome so I downloaded it but I'm still playing Gravity Crash.

Wow I never reallized how hard cod classic was I started playing on veteran and each mission besides the first pathfinder and the car chase so far has taken more than an hour maybe even more than 2 You can never get more health, enemies always know where you are, and 2 or 3 hits you're dead. It is still a great game though just tooo hard

@Slappy: What, you're buying Christmas presents for yourself now? That's a heck of a lot of games for one Christmas total, anyway. I'm getting Mercs 2, Spirit Tracks, and an MS points card I'll spend on Sam & Max season 2 (I may have already listed this here...sorry if it's redundant info). Of course, I'm also getting non-game stuff (two books and a Blu-Ray TV season set). It should be a good Christmas.

@SilentJ: I've seen SSBF around, so he didn't abandon NLife or anything. But it's true he has no reason to post here as he has no immediate prospects of procuring a Playstation 3.
