ModNation is good fun. The gameplay sure is a hell of a lot less frustrating than Mario Kart Wii. It's just a lot better balanced, and being able to actively defend against incoming projectiles is great. Online matches are pretty snappy and you can browse through other players' creations (who are in the current gameroom) while waiting for more to show up to start a race. As far as tracks go, there are a good number of duds as is to be expected. Yet there are some pretty stellar tracks available that have been out since only a few days after the game's release.

If only my PS3 would get its act together. For the last few days my internet connection with it has been spotty at best. I don't think it has anything to do with my wireless network since I've had no access problems with my computer. Beats me. =/

Guys I need help here with my PS3.

I was using the browser on it and the TV screen went black.
I thought my TV died because when I turned it off,it gave this weird red line going across the screen and i've never seen it before.

Then I tried turning the PS3 off but it wouldn't turn off so I assumed "Wow I got the yellow light of death".
Then I turned it back on and everything is fine.

Why is it suddenly that bad stuff is literally happening to me?
WTF is this bullcrap?

@sean.... my laptop did the same thing so I chuncked it in the closet, my ps3 also does the same thing at times

Drake's Fortune or Among Thieves? I love both of them. I've yet to really bother with UC2's multiplayer. I've played a few matches here and there, but I didn't feel too impressed. The single player campaign is effing awesome, though - a huge improvement on the first even with the first being as great as it was (tilt control for grenade throws was awfully awkward though) - so it was definitely worth the price of a full-priced admission. I can't wait to see what they might do with Uncharted 3. Naughty Dog would be stupid not to make another one, and as we all know all good things come in three. I also love the main theme music... kinda wished it was a longer piece though.

Yes, I would say Uncharted is without a doubt the newest franchise I like the most of recent years. Sure makes me think of a more modern day take on Indiana Jones, and it works splendidly. I felt stupid not having picked up either title until some six months after I got my PS3, I just happened to browse at Best Buy while I was looking for something else, and I thought "why not?" when seeing the greatest hits edition of UC1. Suffice it to say, after I finished it I immediately went out to get its superb sequel. It's that good!

Oh, and a word of caution about ModNation Racers. You may or may not know this already but the load times are a little lengthy. Not a real gamebreaker per se, but it can be a drag at times.

What kind and how old is it?

I love mine. 10 hours of battery life, about 4 if I'm playing a high performance game, and I've never had any problems with anything.

@pegasus, yeah im kind feeling stupid as well, and ill either pick up both of them or just among theives and watch a video that summarizes the first one, depends upon how much cash i can scrounge together

@alexsays, what type of laptop are you using? Mine is the Asus EEE netbook and it goes 9 hours.

Warhawk was one of those games I was considering getting if I got a PS3. It looks a lot like Battlefield, but with aircraft that do something other than crash.

I suggest you just don't sit on them. I've never sat on mine and it's still working great after four years.

@Smithers.... def play the first Uncharted. Its not to be missed and a video will not get you attached to the character like you will by actually playing through the game. Not only is the action superb, but you get so involved in the characters of Uncharted you feel like you are Nathan Drake at times. His love life is funny to say the least and then you get into Uncharted 2 taking in all you know about the characters and involved in them and well.... Uncharted is really gripping and not just action packed, like you care for the characters big time gripping. Dont play Uncharted 2 until you finish Drakes Fortune. Rent it and beat it at least if you have too.

@Sean... aye man, sorry I couldnt get up with you on MW2 yesterday. My friend was actually playing on my account for a bit and checking out the new maps and my keyboard was in the other room hooked up to my Wii. I will catch up and get some fragging on soon.

@Pegasus... I turn off the motion control on Uncharted instantly on both games. I dont even see why its in there to be honest.

Heavenly Sword is fantastic. Im not sure if yall have played it or not but its just great. Its not perfect by no means but its a cinematic experience the is right there with God of War and Uncharted. I beat the game in like 3 sittings so its a great rental as its not but maybe 6-8 hrs long. So many gameplay types and some of the best SixAxis motion control ive seen on the PS3. Shooting arrows and then steering them into enemies is just plain fun. The combat has three stances you have to switch on the fly wich keeps things really interesting and not get too repetive. Ive seen this called a God of War clone so much, but really its influenced but its not a clone, way too much that it does is just makes it its own game, not a clone. Not to mention on of the most epic final boss fights that is tough as nails (had to pause a few time from hand craps hard) as it lasted like 45 min. Its a big crazy movie almost. Have to try this one out. Give it a weekend and rent it guys, I promise you will thank me if you havent already played this one yet. (At the $30 price I payed i would give it a 8/10 easy)

Aaaand that's where you lost me. As far as I'm concerned a game that focuses on the "Cinematic Experience" is more fun when I watch someone else play it. I get all the fun without the frustration, and without having to pay $60.

I actually just bought Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on PSN, its the first time I've played it actually.

Does anybody know if GTi Club is any good because i was thinking of getting it

@mickey... its $30 and cheaper everywhere now, and I would recommend a rental. Its really short. If you have played Uncharted or God of War, its that type of type of cinematic game. Top notch voice acting and character modeling.

@sega... its a fun game. One has 3 alterations of one track and very arcade type game. Not a very big game though. Have you played the arcade version before?

@Slapshot: I never tried the arcade version i cant find it anywhere here in ireland but i love to try the arcade version though.

@sega.... its not a bad way to spend ten bucks. I got a good 10 hours of enjoyment or so out of it.

SEGA continues to fail at keeping secrets. It's getting to the point where you really have to question if it's intentional. Like...Sonic 4 was delayed after gripes about the leaked game. Who's to say they didn't leak it on purpose to get input from the diehard fans? Conspiracy theories are fun!

Note that I'm not dumb enough to think that the above news is MUCH of a revalation, at least to those who follow Sonic news closely. The only real new bit is how it's definitely coming to PSN as well as XBLA, which anyone who read those leaked SEGA/Sony minutes from October already assumed, but still...confirmation is nice.

Also: I finished my Plat in 3D Dot Game Heroes. Have a PS3 but haven't played the game yet? Shame on you! Get with it!

Sweet, I hope its original Dreamcast version than DX but that's just me.
