Topic: Tales of the World: Tactics Union

Namco Bandai is bringing the Tales of characters you all know and love into a crossover tactics game, but only for Android devices.

The game will be free to play with downloadable items available for purchase. Users will also need to subscribe to KDDI’s Smartpass program to access the game, which costs an additional 390 yen ($5) per month.

You got me excited for nothing. When I saw the title, I thought it would be the official reveal of the next mothership title that they teased recently. Also, I can see the heads of Judith from Tales of Vesperia and Veigue Lungberg from Tales of Rebirth at the top of the first screenshot and you don't have them listed as confirmed characters yet.
EDIT: I just checked and they're revealing the next mothership title on the 2nd June.

^It'll likely be a PS3-only game anyways. They said they want to improve the Tales of series on current generation hardware.

There's still a chance it could be the first original 3DS Tales of game. The DS had two mothership title so the 3DS could get some of its own. Then again, if rumours of it having something to do with ToX are true, then it probably will be on the PS3.

Unfortunately, the name Historia is taken for recent JRPGs. Because Tales of Historia would be a fitting title in a way...

I had only seen the second one of those. Thanks, for showing me the others. I'm even more interested in seeing what it will be like now. I think its just concept art rather than cutscene art though as the article where I first saw that second screenshot said that it was concept art.

Going to pick up TOV for summer play.

I doubt they'd name it that anyway as there is already a ToH which is Tales of Hearts.

And I'm going to pick up ToS:DotNW for a summer play.
