Ugh I am so disappointed I didn't get this one on the first try. I adored these games when I was a kid, and I still do. One of my all time favorites series.
Got the genre right from the start. Got the game eventually.

I just wanted to point out we've now reached 500 posts in less than 3 months! I'm very happy that this thread has taken off as much as it has and people are still having fun with it!

BOOM! Never played it but just a massive guess, there was something about that fan that clicked as i have played all the other Half-Life games to death but have never got in to the VR tech

Was very confused after the reveal. I know of the sequel. At least by name and apparently enough to know it's a 3D game so when this one was in 2D, I had to double check that I'm thinking of the right game.
Didn't help that the release year in the quiz is wrong. It says 2019 but it should be 2013. Not that it would've helped me but maybe it helps someone else. The synopsis that appears after you're done has the correct year.
