Anyone else picking one of these up? I just coughed up for the Founder's Edition - Console, 2 x pad, 6 x carts, various cards/posters etc. I love the Arcade Archives series, so the idea of having a cart-based system full of retro goodness really appeals to me. Some great games in the six included carts.

Yes I did. I haven't got the original Evercade, but had been looking. Seeing the bitmap brothers collection coming up has persuaded me to get one. When I saw the founders pack included that and a few others I was interested in it made sense.

Might pick up the handheld after pay day.

Tempted. But also well aware of my ever growing backlog and parenting duties are taking up my free time.

Oh I know that feeling, on both counts. This will get a lot of play though, I'm finding arcade gaming in ten-15 minute chunks far more palatable around a houseful of kids far more palatable than actually tring to settle into another AAA game. I've got The Last of Us 2 on the way as it went on sale for a frankly ridiculous £9.99, but I don't know when I'll actually have the time and circumstance to devote a decent chink of time to it.

@SpringDivorce I'ts just Life. I have some big Switch title i've barely touched yet. Link's Awakening, Luigi's Mansion 3. I'm just shelving them 'til retirement in 30 years
