From Serebii.net: "In the newest Famitsu magazine, an interview with the head of The Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, has revealed that there are more games in the works beyond Pokémon Rumble Blast this year. In the interview, he stated that there are plans for games which surprise the players in the near future. He stated that they also intend to continue support for the Nintendo DS while pushing forward with support with the Nintendo 3DS. Full details about the games were not confirmed, but when we get information, it will be posted on the site."
What do you think this means? Did you get excited? What kind of games are you expecting? I have always wanted to see a Pokémon game with all the regions but I think I'll never see it as then other Pokémon games wouldn't sell that much anymore. Also an MMORPG kinda game have sometimes popped in my mind. But what I'm really expecting is Pokémon Gray (or whatever they're gonna call it, if they'll use the same way as before, it will be Gray), new Pokémon Stadium kinda game and hopefully Pokémon Snap 2.
I'd prefer Gray on 3DS too. That way it'll feel more like a new game than an updated re-release.
At any rate, given the waiting/attack animations present in Pokédex 3D, it would seem that a game in the Pokémon Stadium family on 3DS is near enough inevitable. Perhaps we'll have Gray on DS and Battle Revolution 2 (or whatever you want to call it) on 3DS.
Also, as I said in the Pokédex 3D thread, it's interesting to note that the AR codes are based on National Pokédex Number (#001 Bulbasaur) rather than Unova Pokédex Number (#001 Snivy). Which would suggest that PBR2 will support AR codes to some degree, and/or that Pokédex 3D won't be purely limited to Unova Pokémon forever (there is, after all, an Update button in the app's settings)
I want Grey. That is the whole reason I skipped White/Black, to wait for the inevitable 3DS Pokemon. Even if this isn't it, we all know Gamefreak can't resist making another 'real' Pokemon game on Nintendo's new system, so no matter what they say, you know it's coming. :3
Battle Revolution 2 (or whatever you want to call it) on 3DS.
And the point of that would be...what, exactly? Personally, I think that game should be on a console.
Pokémon in any form on any device is an instant money printer. And currently the 3DS is a little lacking in the big system-shifters. It's a relatively small project (port the Wii models, do a little work on the GC models, add a few new battle effects and the rest is all so cosmetic) that will shift machines. "All your favourite Pokémon duke it out in full stereoscopic 3D! And now, bring the battle to your living room with AR support and the Nintendo 3DS 3D cameras!" The ad campaign would have kids all over it like a tramp on chips, and they would hardly even need to try.
It's beyond the point of being able to call a company cheap if they did do it, it's more they'd be stupid not to.
Never played a Pokemon game before! I was doubting to buy some on my DS, but couldn't stand the ugly graphics. Hope the 3DS Pokemon games will attrack me.....It's very populair, so must be fun!
I forgot to mention one of my dreams in first post. A Pokémon game with SSB kinda action! I have always liked how SSB made battling with Pokémon in real time and it seems to work very well. I think they could take some kind of advice from them and make a real-time battle Pokémon game.

Pokémon Rumble is about the closest you're likely to get to that.
I want a one-on-one 2D Pokemon fighter. Think of the wealth of characters they could chose from to make the roster, the varied abilities, etc. They could even do it 3-on-3, instead, like Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and work in the type-effectiveness charts with the different attacks.
Just a few of the Pokemon they could use: *Lucario, *Pikachu, *Zoroark, *Mewtwo, *Hitmonchan, *Hitmonlee, *Snorlax, *Dragonite, *3rd forms of all 15 starters (I can think of Blastoise, Typhlosion, Blaziken, Swampert, Empoleon, Monferno and Emboar working especially well) *Gengar *Scizor tons of others...
That would be a surprise. Anybody else think that's a good idea?

If they're only using bipedal Pokémon then it'll just be a generic fighter with brandi-- wait yeah I can totally see Gamefreak all over that.
Well, I really just mentioned those because they're the easiest to imagine in that arena. And the type-effectiveness could make it less generic, as could the move-range. You'd have lots of projectiles in addition to physical attacks, and you could possibly even weave in differing stats for each character for defense and special defense and the like. You could use other Pokemon, too, like Venusaur and some of the other starters, or do some flyers or levitaters (you could swap Haunter for Gengar, and toss in Togekiss), or even use Dugtrio, and have him popping in and out of the ground and only low attacks or falling attacks work on him. There are a lot of options to make it a pretty deep, strategic fighter.
And @briunj04: YES! That's awesome. Take that, and add that real Nintendo quality, and some strategy to it, and that could be huge.
