Topic: Brink

I was actually looking forward to this game, but I guess I'll pass now. I certainly hope this game turning up with mixed reviews doesn't make other companies avoid trying to be creative with their FPS games as well.

And I'm tired of everyone bashing everyone bashing everyone bashing IGN. _{What, this isn't a thing we're doing?}

But yeah, disappointing about Brink. It looked interesting.

@swiket you definately were bashing IGN, you even admit it by saying 'not that i wasnt bashing IGN' but im just sayin everyone thinks their reviews are biased...just look around at other websites. that said it is unfortunate brink sucks cause it was on my watch list

"Okay" was about how I summed up the trailers. I'm not surprised by the mixed reviews.

I'm not surprised by the mixed reviews, either, but I'm loving the game. The freedom of movement is great (but still a little buggy), and it has some of the best AI I've ever seen
The guns could use a little rebalancing, but the only problem I REALLY have with the game is the fact that too few people will really appreciate it. Too many people are trying to play it like a team deathmatch and not an objective-based game. Usually losing comes from one of your stupid teammates trying to take out 5 enemies on his own instead of supporting your group

Seriously, though, this game is underrated. I'm having a blast

I REALLY have to say this: The textures on the walls and other objects look bad. Like, I mean, bad as in "it stands out in your face" bad. Watching my brother play, that's the thing I noticed off the bat. Mario Galaxy 2 and even Smash Bros. Brawl have better looking textures.

Otherwise... Yeah, game looks fun

It's different for sure. But from seeing my brother play it, it looks like I could get tired of it quick.

My brother ordered this for xbox. Looked cool but IGN bashed the hell out of it so I'm a bit iffy. I'll see how it plays first before making a decision.
