While the above trailer definitely makes the game look awesome and different, I checked out a play-through of a level/misson and it looks like another dime-a-dozen shooter that focuses more on multiplayer than anything else. I might change my opinion if I get the chance to play a single player demo that shows that the SMART gimmick is more than a gimmick, but for now it's nothing new to me.

It looks pretty cool, but I don't like how the character moves, it looks really funny. Also, it seems to have really poor AI.

This game looks so much like TF2 it isn`t even funny. I am unsure how it will turn out so far. It seems as though it should be faster paced than what I`ve seen.

It so doesn't. All the previews I've read said that if the game didn't point out who were AIs, they would have thought they were being controlled by humans they were so smart.
Brink looks SO GOOD. I've never played nor was interested in an online multiplayer shooter since this game. Can't wait (well, I can since I probably won't be able to get it for a while after release)!

Ok, I preordered it, I think it looks awesome, I love customization-heavy games, and if the smart thing is really as good as they say, I'll be happy. All that said, I F*****G hate the Free Radical-esque look of the characters. Looked stupid in Timesplitters, looks stupid in this. Fable was another bad one for this. Everyone looks like they've got some kind of disease that stretches their jawbone out. Whatever, I'm looking forward to it. "Blurring the lines between single- and multiplayer" is something I like to hear. Classes having more specific functions in battle is cool, too. I just hope they implement it like Planetside, where it's a tactical advantage to act within your class than like Battlefield, where you used an engineer because he had a cool gun, not because he could repair a tank

The character animations and the game play look just like borderlands. So much that, if this game was called Borderlands 2, I wouldn't know the difference.
But on a more serious note: If Sony can't get PSN up by tomorrow I think (if it hasn't affected it already), the sales for Brink on PS3 will be diminished in some way, shape or form. Why? Well every game that has online has that minority side of the fanbase who buys the game, heads online, then later goes back to play the game offline.
