If your Wii has trouble connecting (if it crashes with a loud buzzing noise, or if you constantly get disconnected) try setting your Wii to DMZ on your router. It's not necessarily the safest option but you'll notice a definite speed improvement and you'll disconnect a lot less often.
I played with someone last night. I guess you can hit each other. That sucks. I was wondering why this kid attacked me. I used wii speak, but couldn't understand him very well. Not sure if he heard me other than when I was trying to turn it on.
can you lose if your partner dies/passes out 3 times? It seemed that happened to me, unless we had just run out of time.
Gigginox. I hate this ****ing thing more than the Barroth! It poisons you and hits you in the most cheap and irritating ways possible. It's touchable but it's also irritating too. The Rathian, well, he wasn't what he was put out to be. (Way too easy.)
Just for you. "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear." - Freddie Mercury
@longtimegamer We were playing when you posted. You could have dropped me a message.
@ChronoCross Gigginox requires good use of the camera. Tilt it up when he jumps to the ceiling so you can see him and avoid his lunges. Lighting the torches around the caves makes it easier to see him. He doesn't move fast at all, so when he comes after you, just dodge to the left or right. JayArr gave good advice too. We've faced off many a Gigginox together lol.
When you first fight Barioth and Diablos (I suggest in that order, after defeating Nox) you're gonna go HOLYSH- if you think Gigginox is hard.
I cant recall which two of you asked me to help, but it didn't look like I could as I had to be at least level 4. Sorry. I would have helped otherwise.
Took on a Uraagan(spell?) last night and it wasn`t hard, but wasn`t easy. His weakness is water and I was using the spiral lance so it was fun. Btw, does anyone have any tips on the "Heat exhaustion" quest? Every time I do it the uraagan shows up and makes me drop the rock.
@Chucko Run away from Uragaan lol. That's all there is to it. Also get the Transporter skill, it'll allow you to run a lot faster while carrying stuff. Also there are a couple of kitchen skill which can help. Felyne Lander will stop you from dropping your item when landing from a big height. Felyne Strongcat prevents you being knocked back when you're carrying something. Felyne Supercat lets you take a small amount of damage when carrying something and you won't drop it.
@ THE MAN - It was doing your 4 Star Urgent yesterday. If you're on tonight we'll have do some 5 Star Quest.
@H.Mack - You left a little after I finally got on last night. (I needed to beat off-line it was bugging me). It was weird not hunting with a gunner. Freaking upswingers!
Darn near everyone else in this topic needs to find me! >
@ LTG - It's no big deal if you can't play the higher HR missions. I can still come play with you and help on yours. I love playing them all. So what level they are it is no concern to me. Having fun is my top priority.
