Topic: Interest in setting up a online community for The Duskbloods

Hey everyone,

This is a bit early and awaiting an announcement of a release date of Fromsoftware's new Nintendo Switch 2 title "The Duskbloods". I was wondering if people would be interested in setting up a community of people to play together in the future? One of my hopes is that we would be able to create rooms privately for everyone and just have plain simple fun playing this title. 8 people would of course be the magic number since that's what we know is the max player count for each play session. Depending on if enough interest and communication between each other is some bit regular, we could make our own rule set on top of the roles which will be pre set in the game. Totally open to suggestions and look forward to hearing about your hopes for the game.
This is something new I've never done before and honestly would like to thank you for taking your time reading this. Looking forward to chatting soon.
Happy gaming all

I'd be interested absolutely @Blaa - although I'd be very surprised to see Duskbloods released before the Switch2 port of Elden Ring.... which itself is some months away still I believe.

But yes count me in for sure please, I had a blast playing MH Rise online Switch 1 with a small group

@CJD87 100% agree with Elden Ring coming out first. Glad they delay it for performance reasons and recent videos, you can definitely see improvements.
Brilliant that you had a good time on rise and kinda regret not playing it with others. Played solo and moved on after 40 hours.
Delighted to know and fingers crossed for more people to join. The more the merrier

@Blaa yes likewise I’m really glad that FromSoft are delayed the release to make sure it’s fully baked…. ports like SW Outlaws and Cyberpunk have shown what the machine is capable of, assuming that devs are willing to invest time in prior optimisation.

Great - count me in for the Duskbloods team, whenever it may launch. Perhaps we can do the same for MH Wilds later in year, assuming the data mining rumours are legit!

I’m game, will be ready to go once it launches

Yeah, I'd be down. Anything FromSoft releases is automatically a day one for me and this is no different. I've been massively hooked on Nightreign so I know I'll enjoy The Duskbloods.

@CJD87 hopefully Wilds does come and Capcom have really backed Switch 2. Id be up to tag in on some multiplayer and learn more.
@Lazz excellent and thanks for the response
@Kairuuu have yet to play nightreign but have watched a load of videos. The dlc bosses looked epic. Are you playing it solo or with others?

Blaa

Kairuuu

@Blaa Mostly with randoms but have a few friends who join me on occasion as well! Have done a few solo runs too which is actually quite fun and is something that I really should do more. The DLC bosses are super cool. I actually soloed the Dreglord a few nights ago. It's such an awesome boss!

I'll be looking for at least one LFG discord, been very into Nightreign the past year but most of my friends are only on PC

@Kairuuu bravo cause it looked like one of the coolest fromsoftware bosses in recent years. Reminded me of Godrick but a million times better and much more intense battle

@Blaa It's a very cool boss. My favourite in the whole game, in all honesty. Reminds me a lot of Gael from Dark Souls III in a number of ways!

That actually sounds like a pretty cool idea. I'd be down for a party day one.
I'm also available to GameChat for better co-op if wanted.

@Neph yeh same I should have mentioned I am also down for Game Chat. I used this for the first time recently playing co-op on WildHearts - actually far prefer Game Chat to Discord

Never used game chat but would be interested to test it out.
