1. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
2. Super Mario Galaxy
3. Persona 4 Golden
4. Xenoblade Chronicles 3
5. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Donkey Kong - the pack-in game for ColecoVision, I played it over and over day after day. The rare time I saw an actual arcade cabinet of I was always in awe.
Ms. Pac-Man & Galaga - The dual arcade unit was everywhere, year after year, decade after decade, so I'm counting it as one game haha! I owned Galaga on NES so I got to be pretty good!
Centipede - my father's go-to game at an arcade. The only game he really enjoyed. Trying to outscore each other were some great memories.
Dragon's Lair - seeing this for the first time at a convenience store was like a religious experience. They had the extra monitor on top, so passersby could see over the heads of the players.
"They're..........playing a cartoon??"
Spy Hunter - epic James Bond simulator.
Well, those are the 5 games I loved the most as a young kid. Did I like any games made after 1983? Sure. But I find, as with movies, the entertainment I had as a kid makes the strongest impression. And starting chronologically, these would be the first 5 games I fell in love with.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Jade Empire
Mass Effect 2
Oxenfree
Psychonauts/Psychonauts 2 (it's impossible to choose between the two, they're equally good)
@MontyCircus I freaking loved Spy Hunter as a kid. After I ran out of money I would still hang around the arcade machine like a bad smell, wishing I could play it more.

As a kid I always mowed down everything on the road. I didn't realize there were civilian cars you were supposed to avoid until I read the NES instructions! I guess I was too eager to put my coin in to bother with reading the rules.
1 Witcher 3
2 Nier automata
3 Link to the Past
4 Xenoblade Chronicles 2
5 Super Mario 64
Also very close to those OoT, WW and TP, Sonic &Knuckles, Mafia, FF VII (and X), Tomb Raider (both OG and reboot), red Alert, WarCraft 3 and StarCraft 2, super metroid, celeste, hollow Knight...
1. Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced
2. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
3. Smash Bros Series
4. Tales of Symphonia
5. Pokemon Series (though Sw&Sh really bummed me out about the series and its future in general, Arceus didn't make up for it and I'm not particular keen on what I've seen so far of Sc&Vi)
Special mention for Heroes of Might & Magic III... Not Nintendo-related, but immortal as a game providing unlimited fun.
The Last Of Us Part 2
Metal Gear Solid 1
The Last of Us
Gears of war 2
They're the 4 that always come straight to mind. Gets hard to put in order after that.
Honorable mentions: Nioh, Battlefield 1, Dark Souls, Breath of the wild, Bayonetta, Mortal Kombat 9 & 11, Persona 5 Uncharted 4, The Witcher 3, Halo 3, Left 4 Dead, The Darkness 2. I could go on for a while.
