I was wondering what yonders framerate is like and if it drops a lot. Also Whats the farming like in it, does it have variety or is there like 5 types of crops you can plant.

Yo!
Yonder run on 30 fps by majority, both on Switch and PS4 version. But sometimes the game run on 40 - 50 fps on same places with less objects like near of the sea.
Farming in Yonder is completely different than Harvest Moon. You DON'T need to water your plants after you planted them on the field because there is NO watering can. Just leave them for several minutes and they will growing.
Yonder is NOT farming games so there are a few type of plants you can grow on your farm such as : Blue Berry, Herbs, Potato, Red Berry.
One more thing, unlike other games, Yonder is using BARTER system for getting the other items because there is NO money will you earn. You CANNOT get money by selling items, but you CAN get other items by trading your certain items with Same or 1 ¥ higher than their price from Traders around the places. For example, you want an item from Trader with price 20 ¥, so you need to trade any of your items with total price more than 20 ¥ (21 or higher). Some Traders set the price of same items with higher or lower price depend on the locations. For example, there is an item with price 20 ¥, but from other Traders it could be more than 20 or lower than 20.
