@Kraven man that's good insight and I didn't know this either. I sold off a bunch of stuff though trying to get credits for weapons. I'll try to grab some of those as well before heading back to the boss.
Just unlocked the Hraesvelg cruise mode… I already know I’m gonna spend hours just flying around the world while listening to a podcast or something. Flight mode in general has just made the game 10x more fun on its own. Gonna start chapter 10 after a couple more affinity quests

I really appreciate you guys. I was against a wall ready to give up and you guys talked me back into it with some great advice. Grabbed the better G Buster and Phoenix and it made all battles a heck of a lot easier. I won't be doing ch 13 at this time though. I'll save that for another day. Now I'm off to play some clair obscur! @Kraven@Matt_Barber@VoidOfLight
@NintendoByNature Glad to hear that you pushed through and managed to beat it! I’m ten hours in Clair Obscur and it’s phenomenal! I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the game.
@NintendoByNature Pure Xbox is werid. The forums are so dead there, not sure why that is too. I remember the thread for Indy and even Avowed you and I were really the only ones using them.

@NintendoByNature Glad to hear! I would probably do sidequests every now and then in X alongside playing Clair Obscur, given that eventually you'll need the credits and upgrades for the 13th Chapter. It's difficult and demands a good build to finish (got stuck in the final area and basically softlocked due to having a bad build and no money to make my build better).

@Spider-Kev Basically with the right skills that enable massive TP gains when you level them up, and an arts loadout that helps to add more TP while comboing, you can create this effect where you constantly have around 3,000-4,000 TP on your character after the end of an overdrive. This lets you continue with spamming overdrives until the boss or enemies are dead. I think even armor and augments can help with their boosts to your TP.

It is now 2am...
I got it around 7pm...
I got so lost in the game...
All probe placements are done...
I get 50,000+ miranium each hit and slightly under 100,000 credits each hit.
I'm sitting on 13 million credits right now...
Chapter nine is done.
Haven't done many blade quests. Just a couple that actually need to be worked on. I did all fetch blue gem quests as those pretty much auto complete as soon as I get them. Almost every gem I pick up gives me credits...
The simplest way to get infinite Overdrive is to max out the Grand Procession (Duelist class) skill and equip 5 Overdrive: Gain TP XX augments on your armor. This grants you 3000 TP on activation, so you can just mash the A button until your count gets to Max. That's a bit of a late, getting on post, game build though, and you've probably got other things you want to use those augment slots for, especially if you're running a potential build.
A more viable early-game method, but one that requires a little more practice, is to run Dual Guns and repeatedly combo Primer into Sliding Slinger and/or Violent Streak, using quick recast as necessary, while throwing in the occasional Ghostwalker whenever it comes off cooldown. This is just about possible after you've done Chapter 5, so long as you went down the Full Metal Jaguar class line. If not, that's what you need to be aiming for.
There are a few other playable characters - particularly Phog, Elma and someone in the late game whose name begins with C - who are also fairly well built for the second method. So, if you've gone down a different class line, maybe give one of those a try.
Between Skyrim crashing more frequently than I care for, Monster Hunter Wilds being done until Title Update 2, and the mandatory card tournament in Final Fantasy IX I'm not interesting in playing, I figured it was time to fire this up. I think I remember not even reaching my skell during the original release? I probably played ten to fifteen hours or so back then?
I was probably too eager to play something else and XCX got lost in the shuffle.
Anywho, four hours in. Just questing around NLA. Probably will be doing that for a while I assume.

Fifteen hours in, around level twenty. At the end of chapter four or the beginning of chapter five, I'm not sure. I forgot that XCX had a passive or recurring revenue system with the probes. Games that have systems like this (Assassin's Creed III, Saints Row III, Vostok Inc especially, etc)? I tend to like them a bit more than other games in same genre.
Just something about accruing resources on the side, with zero effort, makes me feel like a wannabe entrepreneur.

@Magician
Having the passive income is helpful, particularly the Miranium and the precious resources which are needed to craft various augments.
The precious resources become the limiting factor since if you ever need Miranium, you can quickly do a support mission from the Network Console in the barracks to get some. Definitely pay attention to which FrontierNav probes can yield which precious resources, as some of them are only available in certain regions like Bonjelium in Cauldros.
The credits on the other hand, aren't particularly useful aside from buying some of the higher level skells.
Wandering Mira to complete missions and check boxes is a huge part of the game's substance and is just a nice thing to do, though it usually doesn't require much thinking because the markers tell you precisely where to go and what to do.
End game, a good FrontierNav set-up can mine and store over 100k Miranium, which is a good thing to aim for as there's a certain craftable thing that costs 100k Miranium, but also that it's enough to cover unlocking augment slots for level 60 gear three times.
