Anyone else hoping we'll be able to farm Nopon coins in the upcoming challenge modes?
I love using silver coins to level classes but we don't get nearly enough of them in-game.
@Mioaionios Seems like the nopon coin system would fit perfectly as rewards in that so I’m sure they’ll have that. I’d be surprised if not, it just makes too much sense. So yeah, hopefully!
as usual, whatevers left of any more sidequests that kept poppingg up theyve slowed down which Im fine with.
still need to deal with the stupid Legendardy 7 Nopon or whatever the heck it is but ive done enough of every other sidequest and hero quest its time to move onto the main story anyway
got everyone in the game up to level 81 or more and the game has been way too easy even on easy mode to blast through the normal main story bosses.
its the giant monster enemies that have been a pain such as those gigantic apes that walk around in the region. They remind me of that just one giant monster enemie that sits at some curled climbable cliff in Xenoblade 1.
Why did the Xenoblade game makers have to make only the ape creatures so damn big anyway? What was the point?
@Mioaionios lmao it's funny, when I started the game and I saw enemies fighting each other I would normally back the side that would give me bonus exp. However, I quickly realized how helpful those silver nopon coins were and now I regret ever choosing bonus exp 😂.
@Mioaionios phew. It's been a long ride! I'm not trying to rush, but at the same time, I am trying to get to the end goal in a reasonable amount of time. Too many games coming out soon!
@Balta666
Yeah... I'm not too keen on killing the same monster over and over again. And besides, I believe the only unique monster that keeps dropping Nopon coins is the lvl 120 superboss. Though I could be wrong on that.
@NintendoByNature
Now, what could possibly be more important than Xenoblade?
@Mioaionios hah, not much honestly. But, there's also alot I want to dive into. My copy of shredders revenge is supposed to be shipping soon. Splatoon 3 is on the horizon. Diofield looks pretty solid. Shovel knight dig also has my eye. And there's an indie I saw called Haiku thats a Gameboy metroidvania. Seems right up my alley. And thats only September!!
@Mioaionios Yeah about Nopon Coins, I made the mistake of going for XP and money a lot of the time for the battles where you pick a side which made reaching level 10 in new classes rather annoying late in the game.
Honestly, the story isn’t that long if you ignore most sidequests and you can overlevel rather easily, but I kinda did that because I was so interested in where the story was going and I came away severely disappointed. So yeah, taking your time despite new releases might be a good idea, haha. You were in chapter 4 right? There’s 7 chapters so that’s already kind of halfway. : P But hey, just saying, speedrunning the story is an option, just wouldn’t recommend it from experience.
I keep buying fighting games for some reason, even though I barely got anyone to play against.
Uh excuse me but I did do the whole Prison Warden and liberating the prison in the previous chapters.
that stupid effin prison Nopon just stands there facing the wall in his cell.
Im about done with the damn game anyway since Im in Chapter 7 and doing the part in the game with Noah's sidequest along with the main story quest involving the ship.
Damn makers of the game should have made an official guide or something to help out with these stupid annoying sidequests which are optional including the 7 Nopons that are supposed to "upgrade" your weapons.
Im fed up with this stupid crap anyway
Im going back to playing Xenoblade 1 anyway pretty soon
@XandertheWise
I think the nopon quest being mentioned has extra requirements to be met that I found online, liberating the prison not being enough for it.

@XandertheWise as @Takoda mentioned that nopon has nothing to do with the prison. He will talk to you only when you start another sidequest (the 7 nopon)
Post game spoilers... To those of you who did it what were your thoughts on Nias ascension quest? I can't lie I found it a little disappointing because it felt so short. It was nice to talk to her about the different locations prior to the quest, but the quest itself was like only 1 cutscene. I just finished the one for Melia and hers felt much more complete and had some nice XC1 references. I wonder why Nia didn't get more?
