Topic: Will not display to tv

I have two Nintendo switches,

NS1 which is my original diablo3 edition works fine.

NS2 I recently bought for 80$ from eBay as a broken one that wouldn't power on. It was an easy fix. But I ran into another problem that dosent make since to me.

NS2 will not display to the tv when in my working dock that I use every day with my NS1. The NS2 will register in the dock (green light comes on, no flashing) and it will charge just fine in the dock, but no matter what I try I can't get it to display to the tv. Could it be the usb-c port on the switch even though it's charging fine?

The USB-C port has two jobs: transfer power, and transfer data. If you have a USB-C to USB adapter, try using it with a controller or keyboard or something to see if the Switch can read the inputs. If it can't, then the port is probably broken and can only transfer power, not data.

for 80$ it can be your switch lite.
