Got it pre ordered as soon as I could from EB Games along with the GameCube controller and adapter. Haven't used a GameCube controller in at least 14 years when me and a buddy got a GameCube with Windwaker off eBay.
I'm definitely going to pre-order it from Best Buy because I still have GCU so it's 20% off and you get a $10 certificate for pre-ordering it. I haven't yet though because I don't really see a point right now and I'm a little low on money right now, not to mention I'm getting tons of games before then (Captain Toad, Go Vacation, Warioware, Mario Party, Pokemon, etc.).
Especially on Amazon and BestBuy you get the Pre-Order discounts and that can make or break a Pre-Order choice. I like to save on games and since I have Prime and GCU I use them til they are gone as in the case of GCU. Where GCU I can get a huge discounts on Amiibos and Collector's Edition something Amazon doesn't always do on some Collectors Edition one being Octopath Collector's Edition.
I want to get it, but I haven't pre-ordered a game since, like Super Smash Bros Brawl. I realized there was no point in it. Also I don't have any money, either way.
I'm definitely pre-ordering it, but I don't know if I should go physical for ~$9 off with Amazon Prime (don't forget about the Gold Points you get from digital purchases so it's not $12 off) or digital for pre-loading to have it everywhere I want at a whim's notice.
@Tingle_The_Great It's no big deal, physical still ends up cheaper if you have Amazon Prime or still have Best Buy's GCU. Really though I much prefer digital over physical nowadays except for games where I just need the box.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
