Hi can anybody help .... my daughter literally ran the switch out of battery I put it on the docking station to charge left it for a day.
When I've gone back it hasn't charged at all. So I plug the switch into the charger and it just flashes the Nintendo logo and isnt charging still...
@Holly86xx As odd as it may sound, try resetting the AC adapter. Here are Nintendo's directions. At the bottom of the linked page, there are three buttons for different outcomes, too. See if this get's you going
@Holly86xx Did you try holding the Switch power button down for a really long time to force it to reboot? I almost think I recall that if you hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds, it can force a reboot. There's a possibility I'm thinking of another device/console, but did you try that?
I see why you came here though. I'm struggling to find your issue. I'm looking in the support forums too. Sometimes stuff is in there that isn't in official Nintendo support.
Worst case scenario, if nothing ever solves your issue, this could indicate a hardware failure. In which, you'd want to reach out to Nintendo. I know repairs have starting resuming a week or so ago in some regions.
@Holly86xx Nintendo UK's help line may still not be operating. The contact page currently only offers email support. Here's nintendo UK's support number from before the outbreak, if you want to try it, but don't be surprised if it's no longer attended. +44 (0)345 60 50 247. I had the number on a page I created last year to help people setting up Nintendo accounts & consoles.
