Topic: What's a good price on a Switch Oled?

I'm thinking of upgrading to an Oled and looking for a good deal. I don't know if i should order from Amazon or some other gaming shop. Where did you get yours if you have one and how much did you spend? I'd like to find one as decently priced as possible.

@Truegamer79 Depends on if you're prepared to scan/watch ebay listings. I'd be guessing you could pick up a new one there for £220-240.

If you're set on retail, probably more like £250-260.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@Truegamer79 $349.99 appears to be the normal price. And it looks like OLEDS don't go on sale. Since the pandemic Nintendo hardware appears to never go on sale - OLED, joycons & switch pro controllers. Perhaps inflation killed sales on Nintendo hardware. Although, that's better than increased prices.

Price history via dekudels:
OLED w/ white joycons https://www.dekudeals.com/items/nintendo-switch-oled-model-white
OLED w/ neon red/blue https://www.dekudeals.com/items/nintendo-switch-oled-model-ne...

(I see some discount moments in the price history, but I don't know those stores, or see them as trustworthy sellers)

If you can wait a couple months, wait - I'm one who thinks Nintendo's gonna do some permanent price drops on the Switch hardware line the closer we get to the Fall (and especially the closer we get to Switch 2 next year).

I would at least wait until the Direct this month to see if they announce any bundles or price drops.

I saw one listed on Amazon for $299 with a prime membership and i do have one. That might be manageable with my budget. I was hoping for something around $250 ish.

@Truegamer79 Well, you can trade in your current switch when you get it back. You can get a hefty bit of money/credit toward an OLED.
