Punch Out was a series I got into over the main lockdown period of 2020-21 through NSO and I absolutely loved it. I originally didn't like the original Punch Out (believe it or not) for, at the time, feeling that it was far too unfair. However, after becoming addicted to Super Punch Out on the SNES service, I retroactively went back to the original and everything immediately clicked after playing Super (it's one of the reasons I hold Super in such high regard when everyone else, probably reasonably to be fair, considers it as nothing more than meh).
As for a Switch rendition, if they pulled something similar to the Wii revival in terms of full motion controlled boxing, bringing back legacy characters (thought actually adding new ones this time round unlike Wii) and have some of the best animation in video game history, I would be more than satisfied.
In short: how on earth have we not had a Punch Out Switch already, THERE ARE LITERALLY TWO CONTROLLERS WITH EACH AND EVERY SYSTEM.

@Fizza I actually enjoyed Super Punch Out on the SNES alot more then any other. Maybe it's because that's the one I spent the most time on since well, I owned it. Also when it came out I was a kid so I didn't have much to do so I was able sink the time into it. I remember beating Nick Bruiser finally one day when my friends were over and the atmosphere felt like a regular boxing match. Each time the ref counted we held our breaths and prayed this was the time he got to 10. Lol.
I would love to see a new one come to Switch now whether or not it happens is another story.

I don't like the way of playing boxing from Punch Out. It just only hit and dodge from the same place you stand without moving around like ARMS.
I personally want to see cartoonish Boxing games (Or Kickboxing for better choice) with gameplay like K-1 / Tekken style / ARMS style + Super Meter to unleash super attack or activate the meter to increase specific parameter (Power / Speed / Defense / HP recovery / Kicks) in several seconds.
@WaterKirby1964 I would scream from the mountain tops, buy it day 1, and encourage others to buy it day 1 as well. That is, assuming it runs and plays as well as Punch Out Wii. As far as guest characters go, it would be neat to see the likes of Wario, Captain Falcon, and Dudley or Balrog from Street Fighter.
I'd honestly be content with a port of the Wii game, if nothing else.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,247 games (as of April 15th, 2024)

if a brand new Punch Out game was made and released for the Nintendo switch/switch lite Ill buy the game.
the roster would/should have to be new instead of the old roster like glass joe.
maybe with a few new odd additions like an MMA fighter or two to spice things up for something different.
as the final boxer boss, it would have to be someone well known in professional boxing and i dont keep track of whos who in real boxing these days anyway
