Pokken seems to be returning to the Pokemon World Championships this year and so there's now speculation of a Switch port coming before the event especially as the Wii U version is very behind the arcade version in terms of balancing, characters, etc.
Pretty basic question, but what are the charging options for the console other than the dock? I'm going to mainly have the console in my bedroom, but the dock in the living room with the TV. However, I don't want to take it to that room every time I want to charge it, and ideally, I'd like to play it portably while charging (in bed, or while the TV's in use).
The smartphone stuff is probably the thing I'm least excited about with the Switch. In fact, probably the only thing I'm kind of scared about. First, I have a Windows Phone (lol yes, I know, but I do love it), and I doubt they are going to support Windows Phones. Some people don't even have smartphones. Not a lot, but some.
But I really, REALLY hope they just allow you to plug in/sync up a headset directly through the console, especially on TV mode. I plan on mostly using the Switch docked, so having to pipe the online stuff through my phone at the same time seems more like a chore than a convenience.
Fingers crossed that this has occurred to Nintendo. To me, it seems pretty common sense, but I don't know. The other thing that occurs to me is how little I'll probably dabble in the lobbies and voice chat stuff, anyway. Splatoon 2 comes to mind, of course, but even something like Mario Kart I don't think I would want to play with voice chat.
I could be sour on online communication right now, though. Just finished an incredibly toxic Heroes of the Storm game that served to remind me why I can't wait to immerse myself in Breath of the Wild by MYSELF lol
I said something like that on the latest Splatoon 2 news comments, but some days ago i expressed why i like the app possibility: doing it while returning home or when you can't turn on the system to select a proper time with friends.
@FGPackers Don't think anyone has an issue with the app itself. I think it's a great idea. I just don't like the idea that it replaces the voice chat and matchmaking via the console itself. The app isn't the problem, the possible omission of online features on the device itself is.
The same goes for a sim card slot, for me, to be honest. I want the switch to be independent when it comes to portable connectivity.
It's similar to the alternatives to voice chat they approach now. Especially if, as likely, it means that you can't chat or speak because the device is being used for the connection itself.

It's also pointless since most of us have online social places anyway.
A small something I've noticed from some folks lately, or in the past.
"I'm fine with X decision, I'm happy with it, therefore, it is the right decision, no questions asked." (paraphrase, not exact quote)
Yeahhh this. But I mean you can't really expect much different on a Nintendo(or Sony or Microsoft) based fan site. It'd be like going to a church and questioning lots of the sermon

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
