@WoomyNNYes They can't have been too concerned about it. Heck, a YouTube comment pointed out that some objects spawned incorrectly yet were still in shot, because that's what happens in the game. I don't think they'll be hiding much. I imagine frame rate and dynamic res gets heavy in intense things or loading but beyond that... Probably quite a nice stable 720p ish game.

I put an order through this afternoon, only to be confronted on the final page with the risk of customs fees. Can't remember that being a consideration before, though from my email records I'm not sure I've ever had an order fulfilled from them before, must have cancelled one after finding a more local source.
Anyway... order consisted of 3 games, one in stock, one with a 2-4 week wait, and the other a pre-order for release in December. Total amount about £160, but hoping they are going to be sent separately as and when available, thus minimising the risk of a single bulk package getting hit with customs fees. Am I dreaming?
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@Rambler Thanks, but for now I've parked the whole idea.
When I had three items in the basket, totalling £160, that was the price I paid at checkout.
But when I took the pre-order item out, the total dropped to about £125, but suddenly there was £25 tax added on, taking it back up to £150. Why no tax on the previous order but tax now?
Not a fan of obscure financial situations, so unless someone can help me understand how it works I'm just gonna revert to waiting for a chance listing on eBay someday.
Trails of Cold Steel 3 and 4 were freaking incredible. Unfortunately, Trails 1 and 2 came to Switch but never got localized. 3 had a story summary and that's where I jumped in. But many didn't want to do that.
This is part of the Crossbell arc though, which is only a 2 game series from PSP that was never localized. Now its being remastered and released in the west. The 2nd part, Trails to Azure, will follow.
Personally I really like the more chibi art style in HD. It suits the game well.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
I decided very quickly that if I were to ever get into the Trails series, I'd want to make sure I'd be able to play the whole series. Even ignoring AFAIK recent game/s not being localized yet, I'm not entirely sure that's possible on any one platform right now.
Yeah, I was curious about the Japanese release dates. 2004 - 2009 saw them release only the three Trails in the Sky games, but, since then, they've released roughly one game every year in this series. They must have a really optimized work flow, considering these games are lengthy and full of dialogue.
2010 - Ys vs. Trails in the Sky; Trails from Zero
2011 - Trails to Azure
2012 - The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails
2013 - Trails of Cold Steel
2014 - Trails of Cold Steel II
2015
2016 - Akatsuki no Kiseki
2017 - Trails of Cold Steel III
2018 - Trails of Cold Steel IV
2019
2020 - Trails into Reverie
2021 - Kuro no Kiseki
2022 - Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin
@DarthNocturnal You know how Splatoon 3 has a sort of digital early purchase bonus where you get 10% back in Gold Points? I'm planning on going a big splurge with those points in particular. Namely for:
The two Toree games.
Final Fight (via Capcom Arcade Stadium)
Thomas Was Alone (it usually goes on sale for €2 at a time so that's when I'll strike)
I'm very excited for the first 3 and have always been interested in TWA (especially with how high the review scores have been for it across the board) so what better time than the 2 month gap between Splatoon and Pokemon?

@DarthNocturnal I've mainly used Gold Points myself for small DLC's like the Mii Costumes in Smash. However, there was one time where the stars aligned and I was somehow able to get DOOM 1993 for FREE during Black Friday of last year by using them. It was wild, will probably never happen again....but man I felt so proud for spotting it when I did.
Also, you've just reminded me about how much I want to get Arcade Archives Punch Out now! THERE'S TOO MANY DAMN GAMES MY SD CARD WILL BE IN RUIN BY NEXT SPRING.
@Fizza For me points don't get close to expiring because Nintendo seems to in general have a steady flow of DLC available to purchase. Like this year had MK8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass in March, XC3 Expansion Pass in July and there'll probably be something in fall/holiday like a Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes Pass (Age of Calamity Pass was announced 3 months after the game's launch). That combined with 3rd party stuff means gold points never really build up for me.
I primarily purchase games digitally, so my gold points never come close to expiring, lol.
My platinum points used to, but now I can just use them to grab icon elements. Problem solved. Way better than the random, crappy wallpapers and such Nintendo was previously offering.
