@DarthNocturnal It's not healthy to say "X studio has never made a dud, therefore this can do no wrong".

Remember that every studio is capable of a flop or less than desirable game. Yes they showed us they know what they are doing and have yet to make a truly bad game.

But that doesn't mean this is automatically good, you know?

Eh, given Retro Studios’ track record, I think it’s pretty safe to say there’s little chance of them messing this one up. I think the idea of a Star Fox racing game itself sounds great and I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing some gameplay... _{that’s if the rumor is even true, anyway}

Although, I did think Mario Kart 7 was decent at best. Not amazing, just decent. Mario Kart 8 blew the thing out of the water before it even had a chance lol.

Would Prime Trilogy HD even come this year though?

Are they about to have Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, Pokemon, Star Fox Grand Prix, Metroid Prime Trilogy HD, and potentially even Ridge Racer 8 all release between August-December? Something's gotta give IMO, especially if MHGU is also considered to be one of the "big" games.

eh, might just pick up Metroid Prime Collection on the Wii/Wii U or 1&2 on Gamecube and 3 on Wii instead of getting the collection on switch (if that rumor is true).

I haven't heard any rumor of Metroid Prime Collection coming to Switch.

Fan wishlists maybe, nothing more.

But my goodness if they did bring it I'd buy it a thousand times over. It could have regular analog controls like GC, but also motion as an option like the Trilogy, only reworked as an analog hybrid scheme like all other modern Nintendo games.

And to have them on the go? Shoot... come on with it

I'm not worried. But I'm not excited. I need to see it. However everyone has an opinion on everything whether they know it or not. My opinion is "It could be good" but I'm not jumping on the hype train because of the people making it.

I should point out Sellars isn't the source for all that. He's just summarizing today's rumours (though probably trying to pass it off as his own).

Marcus Sellers... ok. I wouldn't trust that guy if it meant saving my life. Every single thing he has said has been wrong, or on rare occasion, correct but piggybacking off someone else.

And I'm not really a skeptic when it comes to leakers. I fully understand the nature of the business- like espionage, they deal in a currency of rumor and hearsay. And even being right 25% of the time seems awfully credible to me.

But that guy? Any words he says goes in one ear and out the other. I'd sooner believe he piggybacks off of a rumor and tosses in whatever he thinks sounds legitimate to make it seem as if he has credible info

I would pay full price for a Metroid Prime Trilogy port to Switch. It can just be the same game in 480p and I'd still buy it.

Personally I just think the Trilogy is coming because that's easy money and a good way to prepare people for the 4th game, especially given the last one release 11 years ago at this point.

Ya that's his MO. Steal other's info, not knowing whether it's true or not, and pass it off as his own.

But if that came from someone legit, I will start doing cartwheels in my bedroom (and likely break my neck, but you can bet I'll still be playing Metroid Prime in a body cast if it actually happens)

Aces pre launch tournament got a date! And a cool trailer too. It’s all Japan only, I would expect details for other regions in the coming weeks.

Speaking of devs who always make good games, y'all are still sleeping on indieszero. Sushi Striker's probably gonna be a really good game, based on their track record and what I heard from people who played it.

@Aozz101x Yeah... this story in Aces is already looking way more intense than any other featured in a Mario sports title. Beats Bowser simply causing trouble for the hell of it again, I suppose.
