Hello Nintendo,
It would be great if we as smash lovers for the Serie the smash joycons without the switch but with the game the preorderen because some of us have already a Nintendo switch and we regret that decision already, so we would love that we could maybe pretty order the joycons with the game.
Thank you nintendo and everybody for the time and your games
Nintendo please send a message back thank you.

It'll probably happen. Either that or you'll be able to find them on eBay for a huge markup.

Also, this is not an official Nintendo site, so you're not going to get a response from them here.

@Yosheel lol ya that’s pretty much all you need to make your own if you already own grey joy cons

They'll do after a while though, like with the splatoon colors, because why buy the new switch when u could just buy the Joycon, Nintendo has to make some money off this 😉

Well excuuuse me princess

@MasterJay you still can't get the original Splatoon ones in the US. Our colors are reversed.

Personally I think the smash joy cons and pro are ugly as hell, but to each their own. I wish they made more color combos. I'd LOVE extreme green ones. They dont even make shells of that color.

@Trajan I miss the rainbow of N64 controllers. I’d rather Nintendo sold some than order new shells and fiddle with the gubbins myself, too. Maybe down the road they’ll see a market for classic console themes

@HobbitGamer Unfortunately the clear colors didn't come until the end of the consoles life, except for Atomic Purple (came in a bundle; ugly light clear purple similar to the GBC), and Extreme Green (toys R Us exclusive; clear neon green). Then came the DK64 bundle that I got in 1999 which came with a jungle green system and controller. Then in spring of 2000 they launched the funtastic series. Funtastic was basically a way to blow through consoles. By early 2001 after Paper Mario came out the console was essentially dead and they just pushed hype for Dolphin (GC).

Even then though, you could get red, blue, yellow, green, grey, and black controllers everywhere (same colors as the GBP). Yet joy cons are somehow more difficult to get. I can't even get a pair of green ones...

@ReaderRagfish Grape was sooo much nicer than atomic purple.

When the GBC came out initially in North America it was only available in solid purple (like a GameCube) or atomic purple (funny the internet thinks they all came out at the same time). Most kids got the clear one. I picked the solid because I was a fanboy and figured that was the "main color". After I saw the other kids models, I decided I made the right choice.

Still not as good looking as Teal or Lime though.

The Smash bundle is one of the worst that Nintendo have produced as the game isn't even playable out of the box (why couldn't they have just released it alongside the game throw the cartridge in the box?).

It will be pretty hilarious (and a potential PR storm) if the Switch doesn't have enough onboard memory to house the Smash download.

With that said, I would love the option to at least buy the dock separately.

Either way, I'm pretty confident that it will require a 32GB cartridge. I'd be blown away if it didn't considering the sheer quantity of content (and audio!). Compression can do wonders, but I would hate for the A/V quality to be compromised in order to squeeze the game onto a 16GB cartridge. I notice when third party developers cut corners in this respect and it's really disheartening.
