I was surprised to see that Trove shadow dropped on the Murican eShop yesterday. It's a Diablo-esq action/rpg with a dash of Minecraft-esq home/base building. Personally, the game is a little more P2W than I care for, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game when I played it on PS4 years ago. This one's a step up from Skyforge, although like Skyforge, I'm curious to see how well it runs on Switch.

Alright, I've played through to tutorial. I must say that the game has come along well since I last played it years ago. Even on my garbage wi-fi (20 down / 5 up) the game runs quite well. I'm not sure if that's due to the lower player count on Switch or if the developer upgraded their servers? Either way this is a dangerous rabbit hole I'll be going back into on a limited basis.
