Outside of Smash, Sakurai has only ever worked on series beginning with "Ki" for Nintendo. I can exclusively reveal that this trend is set to continue, as Nintendo has bought back the Killer Instinct IP from Microsoft so Sakurai can develop a REAL fighting game. It will be a solo project for Sakurai, just like Smash 😛

The real reason Read Dead 1 didn't have multiplayer was because the developer was promised a trampoline in exchange for putting it in, but he was not pleased with the trampoline. This video of the devs reaction was leaked
