Topic: The switch works with the Mirabook!

Just saw that Miraxess showed that the Mirabook wil work with the Switch!

For those that don't know what the Mirabook is: You connect your USB C based phone to it and it expands your phone screen to the Mirabook, where you can use a laptop keyboard, trackpad, 13" 1080p screen and some ports. Basiclly turning your phone in to a Macbook air

I tought about buying it if it becomes avaible in a way in switzerland, but now it looks like a must have if it also charges the switch while docked.

That's the problem is charging the NSW and if the port can't do that then it's not worth buying it. Problem in the video the NSW is laying flat on the Vents not a good thing so you need a Hori Stand to keep it up. Sounds very tempting and frees up the Dock but at 299.99 that is the cost of a NSW already.

Might as well just play it by itself.

So you pay $300 for a phone docking station? As far as using it for Switch, paying that much for 13” is extreme. I can get a 48” FHD LED for $180; I can’t personally justify this gimmicky thing.

If you ever got around using a samsung dex station, you might understand why the Mirebook is a good idea and not at all expensive. I use my dex station as "smart TV", to play emulations and do quick mailing and billing. Having that in a laptop formfactor doubling as switch screen and chargin station is amazing.

Guess if you don't experience it you won't know.

Nothing wrong with it to charge while using the Switch but trying to play on the mirabook and while securing your NSW isn't what I call portable gaming. Now if your sitting down somewhere that requires desk space so the two hardware can be setup to work without problem. Try taking mirabook and NSW and play at the same time on the go and you can see how inconvenient that is.

I think that is miss the mark. What others are saying is the cost your paying 299.99+tax NSW no games and has a Dock. And then paying again 299.99 mirabook that a added cost if you only use it when you use the mirabook otherwise you have the Dock and HDTV up to whatever size you like. That is a niche product to have but one has to justify using mirabook to justify that price to use it with the NSW.
