@Clyde_Radcliffe There's cross over between the two genres but I always describe the difference between Metal and Punk to people as Punk is more about attitude whilst Metal is more about testosterone.

On the review vid they mentioned there are plans to put more of a rock soundtrack in Taxi Chaos but The Offspring is so identified with Crazy Taxi it's hard to imagine the game without it.

I wish you could turn off rumble.

I’ve had the game not recognize that I was at my destination a couple times where I got a game over when I arrived at my destination with 35 seconds to spare but timer ran out.

You people really need to stop comparing Taxi Chaos to Crazy Taxi. Yes they may be similar in gameplay but stop giving Taxi Chaos a bad rap etc.

You want Crazy Taxi that bad? Then go hook up your old stupid console and pay Crazy Taxi.

Well im tired of people like you not liking Taxi Chaos because you and other people still have a hard on for an old ancient Dreamcast game or whatever.

How about you just go and pay Taxi Chaos and enjoy it where its more of a modern updated version of Cray Taxi?

Taxi Chaos is a fun game in my opinion anyway. Hope the rest of you will start playing Taxi Chaos and enjoy it or else you go back to your precious Crazy Taxi Dreamcast game

@urrutiap The developers are clearly trying to establish the comparison between the two themselves, so I don't really see what the issue is comparing them but what do you mean by giving Taxi Chaos a bad rap? No one is bad mouthing it as no one has really played it.

It's already been mentioned before in the thread but not everyone has a Dreamcast or whatever laying around so they can't play it.

Im probably the only one here who is playing Taxi Chaos for the Nintendo Switch and enjoying it anyway

Dunno if you have noticedd @jump but even youtubers have been judgemental on Taxi Chaos where they just like some of you on here, comparing it to be like Crazy Taxi.

Im sick of this crap.

@urrutiap Why are you getting so worked up over people comparing it to Crazy Taxi? The game is clearly meant to be a Crazy Taxi clone, there's nothing wrong with that as people like Crazy Taxi.

What does Taxi Chaos do that Crazy Taxi doesn't if you feel people aren't giving enough credit to it for it's originality?

@urrutiap
I have never played Crazy Taxi nor even have Dreamcast. 🤨
Don't make a premature assumption that everyone here was talking bad about Taxi Chaos.

Geez...
Why are you angry ? 🤨
Are you expecting everybody must like Taxi Chaos or you will get angry ?
@Eel
I need your help to calm down this cranky urrutiap.

@urrutiap If you can't explain the differences between the two then Youtube and everyone else is right to call it a Crazy Taxi clone. I still don't understand why you are getting worked up over it as being a Crazy Taxi clone is great as I loved playing Crazy Taxi.

Any city racing game with a taxi, that uses glowing areas to show destinations & people-to-pick-up is going to get compared to the game that created they genre.

@WoomyNNYes Yep, that huge genre of two other games Simpson Hit & Run and Taxi Chaos.

The Crazy Taxi patent actually expired a couple of years ago so I'm surprised there's not more of these games now.

@jump I have Simpsons Road Rage and Simpsons Hit & Run. I probably never put more than 10 hours into Road Rage back in the day. I recall that a mission required making a huge sum of money that was such a long grind, I gave up. Now, years later, I'm kind of curious to go back. Actually, I guess I'll look up a longplay of Road Rage.

@WoomyNNYes Oh yeah, it was called Road Rage not Hit & Run. I only ever played it for a few mins around my mates back in the day. Tbh I wouldn't want to play it again just because of how bad The Simpsons show is today.

@jump Simpsons tv show is bad, now? When did that happen? Must have happened over night. haha, I'm kidding. The episodes I like were mostly seasons 3 to 8-ish. I've got the best episodes on a flash drive.

Nintendolife has done a review, 6/10 which is what I was kinda expecting. The game itself seem solid enough if you just want it for the Crazy Taxi premise. I will wait for a sale as it seem pricey for what it is.
