A tweet from Super Rare Games suggests that they may be selling some leftover stock of previously sold out games this month.
This is keeping in mind that Super Rare Games don't have a release planned for December.
Retailers keep a small amount of stock for replacement of orders that are lost or damaged, and eventually sell that off.
Limited Run Games like to do this around New Years.
@RupeeClock - Good news for me, cause that may likely happen with Strictly Limited too. Missed out on 2 there due to their odd timing of releases clashing with personal priorities.
In other news, I just want to make a PSA for everyone: Keep track of your shipments this time of year. Porch Pirates become increasingly common when people are ordering online more often. Luckily nothing has happened to my games, but we have had a pin and a bag of dog treats stolen.
Looks like SRG are doing mystery boxes like LRG did in the past. I can't see the appeal of the lucky dips; I need to know what I am buying. I suppose if you have the money to spare it can be in your favour because some of their titles are worth more than asking price. Anyway, they will be up for grabs on Dec 3rd if anybody else is interested..
Pikunika and Heave Ho also availble via LRG with alternate covers. Speaking of LRG I just got my shipping noti for Wizard of Legend. They are also almost ready to ship out Blaster Master Zero..
A couple weeks ago, I saw this tweet from JP's Switchmania suggesting Bazaar-Bazaar for Final Fantasy IX.
They're based in the UK, so all their prices include tax and duty and will ship nationally.
The invoice for my order included a voucher code "AMZ001" for a 5% discount for first orders only.
The code "switchmania" might also work, or it might've expired. I always use that code on Play-asia orders.
The Asia English version of Final Fantasy X / X2 HD Remaster is getting restocked over at Play-asia. https://www.play-asia.com/final-fantasy-x-x-2-hd-remaster-mul...
This version is preferred because it requires no downloads, both games are on the cart unlike the EU or US releases.
Super Rare Games are opening sales for their 1000 mystery boxes today at 6pm GMT UK time. https://superraregames.com/products/super-rare-blindbox-2020
What's available and their probabilities are listed on the store listing.
Stock is primarily of games from 2020, with their uncommon stock being titles they struggled to sell through.
On another note, Limited Run Games have sold out of their variant edition of Pikuniku.
With only 2,000 copies for $29.99 with arguably a more appealing cover, it's not surprising.
Heave Ho has yet to sell out on either Limited Run Games or on Special Reserve Games, but Pikuniku is still available on SRG's site.
@RupeeClock Damn! Thank you for that! I was waiting for the Asia version for so long! Ordered!
@Magician Just to remind you about Fenyx Rising if you could play it just from the cart!

@GrailUK
It's just a ploy to offload excess stock.
But at least it's a nice bit of kit if you're a boutique enthusiast.
Limited Run Games do this around New Years as well, I bought one once which turned out to be Saturday Morning RPG, which is pretty cool given that's an LRG developed game that kicked off their whole operation.
Yup, I haven't forgotten. I conducted the trade today so I have a copy of Immortal Fenyx Rising in hand. It has a 1.8 GB day one patch. Tomorrow morning I'll delete the patch and see how well it runs without it.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,555 games (as of March 31st, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
Let me tell you something terrible about the Switch.
If you update a game and then delete the update you will NOT be able to play it again unless you update it. The Switch will NOT allow you to run the game of the cartridge.
The ONLY workaround is to HARD reset your Switch with the option to DELETE everything.
I found that the hard way with Diablo 3.
I am lottle shocked that people do not bat an eye about that.

So I tested launching a deleted patch for Sayonara Wild Hearts and Mr. Driller Drilland. No bueno. Hmm, then I suppose the only cartridges immune to this are those with everything on the cartridge, zero updates? I wonder what the purpose is for that design choice? Data tracking maybe?
@Magician That is interesting. Can't wait to hear if Immortals is like that.

@Magician probably yes. At first thought that it was due to the save game version but even with deleted save game it would mot allow me to play.
It is ok. I will ask in a reddit for Switch collectors.
