@MasterBlaster - So far my best finds are at Best Buy. 6 games for 120, not bad.

That is also where I found The Survivalist for 25.

@MasterBlaster

AmazonNA had The Survivalists down to $20 back on Sunday morning.

But quickly became out of stock, naturally. Tis the season.

That's one I've been looking forward to.
As far as I can tell that's not the only item opening for pre-order on 29th Nov.
There'll also be "Last Labyrinth" for PS4 VR, and "Gryphon Knight Epic Definitive Edition" for Switch.

@RupeeClock yeah I'm keen for that one! I will be buying it asap and bundle it with Cotton Reboot.. Gryphon Knight Epic is new to me? will have to do some research. cheers

Yeah, the other two games mentioned were only revealed in this past SLG newsletter, I think?
They haven't made it too clear that they're opening pre-orders for three new products on Nov 29th. Even their site doesn't mention the actual date or time pre-orders will open.

Red Art Games have started a Black Friday sales on some of their older games.
There are some pretty significant discounts on a number of titles I was on the fence on.

I already have Xeodrifter, but €20 for it isn't half bad for one of Atooi's better games, albeit a short one with a justified cheap digital price.

Ganestop has a BOGO on pre-owned (so buyer beware). Some decent selections. Was able to secure a Giraffe & Annika copy finally.

Alright alright, can we agree that the physical release for Waifu Uncovered sets...some sort of new bar for anime smut on the Switch? It has to be the most NSFW game on Switch. And here I thought DoA Xtreme 3 was the high bar for lewd, cultured experiences on Switch. Well, not anymore.

Waifu Uncovered reminds me of a Rodney Carrington bit.

@Magician
Considering that it's an Eastasiasoft game, I'm surprised that it got an EU physical release, with actual pornographic illustrated card inserts too.
I always would've thought it would've been exclusively distributed through Play-asia given the sort of things they sell, but evidently not.

Gryphon Knight Epic and Clockwork Aquario preorders from SLG are live.

Just standard copies for me.

@Magician
I went for Clockwork Aquario, and also Cotton Reboot.
I checked out a trailer for Gryphon Knight Epic and I wasn't very impressed with what I saw, on top of sidescrolling shooters not really being my thing.

@RupeeClock same here. Gryphon Knight looks terrible imo, the reviews were mostly negative as well..

Belexes

Gryphon Knight is 90% favorable on Steam - I ordered it and I am not big on side scrolling shooters.

It's just a guess, but I feel there's a strong chance we'll get a physical release for the SaGa Frontier Remaster coming next year.

@Magician I hope so! love ps1 JRPGs, childhood nostalgia.. @Belexes I saw some pretty bad reviews about the game and the graphics don't do it for me. It's all sold out now which is a bit of a surprise, I thought Clockwork Aquario would have been the first to sell out.

@Solomon18
I'm with you that I'm surprised Gryphon Knight sold out, but I'm not surprised that Clockwork Aquario is still available.
It's a completely unproven title since it's had no prior release, it only has the promise of being an old Westone project.

RupeeClock

Belexes

Print run of Clockwork Aquario is 3,500 and Gryphon Knight is 2,400 - if that explains at all why Clockwork Aquario remains. (32% left as of this writing)

Belexes

@Belexes
That's just for the standard edition anyway.
Across the three editions of Clockwork Aquario, there's 6,000 Switch copies of the game, and 3,600 PS4 copies.

For Gryphon Knight, it's 3,000 Switch copies, 600 included a soundtrack CD.

SLG probably got the right idea about levels of demand for Gryphon Knight, but probably over-estimated demand of Clockwork Aquario and the lavish collector's editions.

Paraka

Whelp, that's another I missed out on, Gryphon Knight is likely going to be a scalper's dream now that I gotta scour for one.

Responsibilities be damned.
