One other question - who here bought the "Nonstop Climax" Japanese version of Bayonetta? How much did you spend?
I think I've settled on aiming for this version of the game, but I'm trying to figure out what a "fair" price is for it... ...anyone here get this version?
Hello,
I found this forum couple of weeks ago while searching for new Switch physical release. I have been reading the old post and I'm really amazed at your collection. As for myself, I have been collecting Switch games since it's release and I'm hoping to collect every physical release. I aim to collect the North American release first then I look for any physical release that contains English in other regions. So far I managed to get every physical release. Generally, I go with the standard version of the game. In some special cases, I purchase the collector or limited edition like Bayonetta "Nonstop Climax" as an answer to your question @TalonMan I paid for it $138. I found it earlier before it's release in the range $120-125 but unfortunately, I hesitated and I didn't act quickly.
So far I missed the Kickstarter order for Netherworld. I didn't know about only after the campaign closed. I contacted the developer if he is going to release in the future or if he will take any additional order at the bakerkit but he replied that he is not sure about this. I really hope that they will release it at retail or take additional orders. I don't want to know that I missed my chance.
Also, I would like to inform you @TalonMan about one of your earlier questions regarding Island Flight Simulator. I own a UK version and I paid for it £36.31 ($51.56) and I was shocked when I discovered later it went up to almost 1000 pound.
Sorry for the long response. This the first participation and I just wanted to share some of my experience.
@Hamodi I was mildly interested in Island Flight Simulator but its prices have just gone crazy. It was like one of the most under the radar releases I’ve ever seen. Kinda like the Megaman Zero Collection and Suikoden Tierkesis European releases on dS.
This is no more than two people who either trolled his bid or just put in a high figure to win the bid and got shocked when they won. Further investigation shows the seller relisted the item 2 hours and 5 mins later and it sold for 34.99 with good feedback left.
So chuck this off to eBay garbage. While there are 4 different versions of the game this is no more than the run of mill standard edition.
As far as Bayonetta Non Stop I picked mine up at Amazon JP and had to use a mail forward company. I think it cost $115 or so when all said and done.
Netherworld........... don't worry. Go thru their twitter and find where they asked for people who were interested in a physical release and sign up. They only sold roughly (I could be wrong) 200 +/- physical copies and they would probably need to meet Nintendo's min order qty which is believed to be about 5,000 units. The backers may get something special but I believe they have to get a few more copies sold.
Nintendo works a little different than Sony. With Sony they do the total manufacturing process (disc press, print graphics and package) with Nintendo you have to buy the cart's from them, purchase the print from a 3rd party and then have a packaging partner put it all together thus why it's slower for them to get to market and also one of the reasons for the "Switch Tax"

Thank you for mentioning this. I didn't know that they are collecting a list of interested people. I subbed to their list and I followed their twitter account.

I used Tendo middle man and in total I averaged out about 180 bucks.
So - it seems the "early birds" who got in on the "Nonstop Climax" paid as little as $115, up to $180. I haven't seen a listing yet, that is currently below $200-$225 which sucks, but it is what it is and I wouldn't expect anything different since it's a rather unique item. I honestly don't know how on earth I missed out on the original pre-orders for this since I'm slightly neurotic about this type of stuff - I can only guess the pre-orders had gone up before I had discovered this thread...
...and I hadn't noticed that "re-list" on the eBay - which makes a TON more sense!! I just couldn't, for the life of me, figure out how on earth that was possible and what I was missing!! LOL!!!
I have question for anyone who might know about it.
What kind of print does One Piece: Unlimited World Red have? Low or high? I want to know if I should just go ahead and buy it or if it's safe to let it sit for awhile.

I don't think it had a high print. The game was already released earlier on multiple platforms and it's only available on PAL for English physical release. I think you should grab it at earliest chance you have. That's my opinion.
This is a quite an interesting find!!! I wonder - does anyone know whether they'll ship to the US? I'd hate to pump up my blood pressure (ala LRG style!!!) - only to get to the shipping address and find out they won't ship...
Edit:
Well - I did my own test run on just any old product from their website, and it definitely let me past the address section (even knew I was from the US apparently, as the 'country' was pre-populated for me) all the way to the payment section, so I take this as confirmation they'll ship internationally.
Does anyone know anything about the Japanese version of the Megaman X collections. I heard that both would be physical instead of collection 2 being digital but I can't find any info on it. It looks the x collections are being sold separately and together.
Hello everyone. I've been a long-time lurker of this thread and I thought it was high time I started contributing. My Switch collection is at 64 titles, with around 60 games currently on preorder. Personally, I'm equal parts scared and excited for E3 because my wallet is already physically crying.
Anywho, lets move to some info.
Preorders for Flipping Death and Steamworld Dig 2 are now available on Amazon North America.
Also, I don't know if it's been noted, but the physical release of Neo Atlas 1469 is also now widely available. It's a Japan-only physical release I believe. But it's similar to I Am Setsuna in that it has an all-English box sleeve and an all-Japanese box sleeve. The game also fully supports English.
The game itself is described as a Civilization-lite style of game.
