@RupeeClock I did and they investigated it. Turned out it was a shipping error and I get the games as a gift since it is not my fault

Pix n’ Love is bringing us a physical edition for Donut Dodo, which apparently is a pretty fun homage to early 80s arcade games a la Donkey Kong and Burgertime.

Preorders open later this week. I might be tempted to import a copy…

@WaveBoy - As a Switch owner, I can affirm that I probably only ever heard of the game once. Just once.

But DK and BT are two of my favorite NES at the time, still play the originals periodically. So that description caught my interest.

@WaveBoy Watching the trailer, yeah that looks legit and the music was great.

I'll definitely snag a copy.

Another arcade-style indie game I recommend (and hope will get a physical release) is Annalynn.
It can best be described as Mario Bros meets Pac-Man (leaning more heavily into the latter).

Oh and if you do plan to grab Donut Dodo, it looks like the print run from Pix'n Love Publishing's site might be limited to 500 Day One Edition, and 1000 First Edition copies. Probably order it when it's available to be safe.

Inti Creates' next title "Umbraclaw" is getting a multi-language physical release in Japan, in standard and limited editions.

https://www.play-asia.com/umbraclaw-limited-edition-multi-lan...

It looks to have a simultaneous physical and digital launch on May 30th (Play-Asia appears to incorrectly list a March 30th release date).

The trailer and premise of the game looks great; you start the game out as a mostly defenseless cat, with the goal of getting to the end unscathed. However, if you are not able, the gameplay changes with a drastic character change and a direct combat focus akin to many past Inti Creates titles.

Oh yeah, I placed an order on Play-Asia recently, and was able to use the code SWITCHUP for a discount.

@RupeeClock - Half expecting an LRG release as well, since they got a routine with NA releases and Inti Creates.

@Paraka
Honestly, yeah that's what I'd expect, what with the Blaster Master Zero trilogy, the Gunvolt games, it's a good fit for LRG.

Bitmap Bureau collection coming from Numskull. Final Vendetta, Xenocrisis, and Battle Axe. I would be interested if I didn't already have all of these physically. They're all good games. Perhaps not the best in each of their genres...but good.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,579 games (as of May 18th, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

@Magician
This looks like it's first time that Numskull have published Xenocrisis.
I have a Switch physical copy of Xenocrisis published by Strictly Limited Games.
Battle Axe and Final Vendetta had EU releases from Numskull, and US distro releases from LRG.
There's a chance that this Bitmap Bureau Collection will also be an LRG distro release.

@Magician
Ooo a Bitmap Bureau Collection is welcome news! I have Final Vendetta physically already, but that’s it. Xenocrisis sounds like a Smash TV homage I would really like, but I missed out on that physical years ago, and the prices have kept me away.

@WaveBoy
I’m pleased to report that I got in my preorder for Donut Dodo day 1 edition last week. That goofy early arcade cover art will have an honored place on my game shelf. 🦤 😁

Remarkably, I came across a Donut Dodo OST available on CD or vinyl on Amazon JP. I love that retro Famicom box art! But I’ll probably abstain since the Day 1 edition of the game includes a mini-CD sound selection.

It shouldn't be long, Pix'x Love's product page gives it an April 26th 2024 release date.

I'm still waiting on orders for collector's editions of Vengeful Guardian Moonrider, Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection Vol 2, and Gravity Circuit, but that's not unusual for their fancier releases as they put a lot of effort into the packages.
They only did a standard release for Dodo Donut.

Do many people here double dip and get digital and physical releases? I have only done it with one game (Alien Isolation) because I had it digitally wanted the LRG steelbook release.

I ask because I imported Hong Kong Massacre and Golf Club Wasteland, but I haven't open either yet, but both are on sale digitally and are currently 89p each. The physicals weren't crazy expensive, but for under £2 I can play both games and keep my physical copies sealed. I'm not a sealed game collector! What does everyone else do?

MarioBrickLayer

Paraka

@MarioBrickLayer - Depends on the game. Usually I have, and will, double dip when involved with an indie I wish to play currently. Frogun is a good example, same with Blasphemous.

Other times I do get a limited edition, like the Pixnlove ones for SNK, but keep a digital once they are on sale.

@MarioBrickLayer
Oh yes, if it’s a game I love I’m not ashamed to double dip. That way I get that sweet, instant-play convenience when my butt is firmly fastened to the couch, while still having the peace of mind and satisfaction of owning a hard copy.

The usual scenario is I’ll own a game physically, then be tempted to buy on the eShop if it’s cheap and/or really desirable. That was how I doubled up on Arcade Paradise, No Man’s Sky, Darkest Dungeon, MH Rise, and Star Wars Pinball. Other times I’ll wait in vain for a physical, then eventually relent and buy digitally, only to get a physical announcement later (like Hades, Enter the Gungeon, and especially Alien: Isolation).

Either way, if you see value in double-dipping on a game you love, have the means and an opportunity to do so cheaply, I’d say don’t be shy doing so. It’s probably somewhat a common occurrence among Switch owners who enjoy physical media.

An ESRB rating for Ace Combat 7 has been spotted.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,579 games (as of May 18th, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

LRG seems to have prematurely announced pre-orders for The King of Fighters XIII Global Match.
Distro releases are usually 5pm UK time on a Tuesday, so their email was accidentally scheduled a day early.

Pix'x Love Publishing already have stock of this title as an EU region release.

Still waiting on my order for the KoF XIII CE from Pix'N Love. Forget the cardboard trash CE LRG are shoveling out; the classic Neo Geo clamshell from Pix'N Love is where it's at. Shipping in March, to be received in April, hopefully.

@Magician - The clamshell is the only reason I have bought each of SNK's CE packages at Pxinlove.

Missed Xeno Crisis on Strictly Limited? Or are you thinking of buying Final Vendetta/Battle Axe? If yes, you might want to wait a bit till summer, as Numskull Games will be releasing a collection of all those 3 games. They will have, reportedly, the latest build on cart:
