Topic: Switch Games with deep character customization

As the title suggests, this topic is for people to propose Switch games with intricate character customization like one's where you can freely customize the look of your character down to making their skin blue if it's possible like with the Saints Row games or Skyrim. Any hidden or underrated games would be appreciated like any RPG's as well.

@Anti-Matter Oh, thanks.
But those are not exactly the types of games I'm looking for. I'm looking for more games like Tony Hawk skating or Monster Hunter, those games have character appearance customization.

Thanks anyway.

I'm pretty sure Dark Souls Remastered has a pretty good character customization interface. But I haven't played the game so I'm not sure.

Persona 3 Reload (PC)
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy (PC)

From what I played at least Daemon x Machina has very good character customization, both for your Character and your Mech.
Though I think you're going to be seeing your mech most of the game though

Good... good

@AegisPrime No problem I hope you enjoy it, just be mindful that the game has some framerate issues.

While I’m not crazy about the art style, I thought the Olympics 2020 character customiser was pretty neat. I made avatars of myself and a friend, and I think the latter was especially true to life.

Oh hey, nice to see more people contributed to this post.

But anyways, yes I'm looking for more types of games that let you customize your character where they can look as ugly or as pretty as possible like Saints Row or the underrated RPG I recently discovered and would recommend to some people if they enjoy Skyrim, Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen.

Thanks for the responses here, it would be nice if Nintendolife did post an article about Switch games with the most robust character creators.

@iLikeUrAttitude I nearly forgot about that game. Is the Switch port better or worse than the later released PC port?

The PC version is easily better if you don't care about the portability aspect of the Switch version.
Spec requirements are fairly low for how well it runs on the platform so you'll be able to get 60fps with ease.

Compared to the Switch version which is locked at 30fps and suffers from framerate issues, though I don't know how common or major they are.

So if you care more about portability than performance - get the switch version, if you want pure performance - PC.

1. Divinity Original Sin 2 has a nice character customization but not as crazy as you want I guess

2. Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning has nice options.

3. Terraria has all the options you would like but it is a pixel art game

Fizza

1. Pokemon Sword Shield has tons of clothing and hairstyle options so that you can look however savvy/ridiculous you want, it's fantastic.

2. Miitopia... do I even need to say anything? Even if you haven't played the game, you've most likely seen the absolutely INSANE creations made in-game that are literally 1 to 1 at points. If you have an artistic side, get the demo on the eShop, you won't be disappointed.
