I just thought id throw this question out there and see if anyone knows. But why are there so many games on Amazon scheduled to be released on December 29th 2017? Seems strange that so many games are being released after xmas. Titles are super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2,Arms,Readout,Troll and I, Dragonball, and Skyrim just to name some of them.
Those are placeholder dates until the actual release dates are officially announced. It's standard practice for unreleased games. No publisher is crazy enough to release so many big hitters on the same day, let alone after Christmas.

I remember Ninty actually did that with Captain Toad, it even had an unofficial before Xmas release as the on-line retailers had to send out copies early because it would have been impossible to do it with the post down for the holidays.
