I will do the challenge like I have ever done on PS2 version.
The Challenge are No crops, No animals, Fishing, digsite items and foraging only.
So I can focus on non farming activities and skip the time faster.
Also, I will force my kid during toddler age to like the subject interest I want, doesn't care he will cry by keep repeatedly showing him one thing I want while being carried.
I call it a brainwash project. 😁

And Goodness knows
The wicked's lives are lonely
Goodness knows
The wicked die alone...

Whether irl or in a video game. You have to be patient with the kid. Forcing stuff on kids does not work. Take it from someone who did have stuff forced on them irl it completely turns them off to where they do the opposite of whatever it is. I'm not making my toddler cry in this video game or any other video game. You can but it's not right... I didn't know there was a challenge~ 🤔🤷‍♀️ This is more trial & error first go around in game. Second time playing it slowly as for taking my time~ 🤣👍✌️

@Eel

I'm not sure either looked as though the kid was in the kid stage in the ps2 or gamecube version of the game. I went through toddler, kid, & now teenager stage in game haven't seen it yet but will let you know if I come across it the second go around after beating this game~ 🤣

Which bachelor should I go with next in my new game? I was going to go with Matthew but his personality is to ice cold even for me. I'm not into Gordy of Gustafa soo I guess I'm remarrying Rock again~ 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣 I like him~ 🤷‍♀️🤣 My virtual kid is already an adult now~ 😍💕

@Eel

Can you date multiple guy's in the game at the same time before getting married? Just curious~ 🤷‍♀️

@Barbiegurl777 yeah, you’re not so much “dating” them as much as just befriending them.

Unlike Molly, Cecilia, and Nami, the boys (+ Lumina) don’t have any “going steady” events until you propose to them.

It's very subjective choice.
For me, I choose Matthew as he got better makeover than his old looking as Marlin.
For second choice I choose Gordy as he got completely different makeover in remake version compared with his old looking.
For third choice, I choose Rock as he still pretty much same as old version.
And of course I will play as boy character to get married with those dudes.

@Anti-Matter

Gordy was in the old version? What did he look like in the old version? Cool. I'm a girl. So still playing as a girl character & get married to a dude because I'm straight. 🤷‍♀️✌️

@Eel

Uhhh okay. At least I learned from my mistakes & try to do better this time & actually finish the game got to chapter 5 & decided to do a do over~ 🤣 I do have 1 question though is there a specific item you can give to all the residents that they'll accept the same 1 item or do all of them need different gifts when giving them stuff because I was straight up guessing what to give each character giving the toy flower to Rock was the easiest~ 🤣

@Barbiegurl777 I don’t think there’s any easy catch-all gift, but the people in the valley will only really show interest on things they like, so try to carry around a good variety. A lot of them seem to like fish and milk though. And soup.

Gordy was called Cody in the older versions of the game, and while he keeps his job and personality, he used to have a gruffer look:

Gordy was Cody in old version.
He looks like a punk artist in old version.

Should I play the PS2 version at some point. Curious to play the old version now just to see all the differences between the old version & the Nintendo switch version~ 🤔✌️

Welp, finally kicked the bucket. Had a little over a million in the bank. My daughter left home to become an artist, and my widow Nami is running the farm. I will take a break for now but will likely work on both the Beyond Chapter to get all my wonders and then restart "as" my daughter. I've always enjoyed that this game has a definite end. I loved all the improvements (even the ones I didn't at first) and hope that it inspires marvelous in their next game. Looks like it is still my favorite Bokumono, but I really enjoyed Olive Town after the updates. Need to check in on my farm there. I think I will go back to harvestella or Octopath II to replace this one.

I think the story assignment of Wonderful Life is weird.
Why only Nina passed away but the other elders still alive (Galenth, Romana)?
It makes they are 120 years old when myself turn into elder in chapter 6.

And Goodness knows
The wicked's lives are lonely
Goodness knows
The wicked die alone...

Eel

It is a bit odd, but I believe the main takeaway is that your character dies rather young, like maybe at around 40 years old.

Even if people like Romana and Nina’s husband start off “old” in their mid 60’s, if the story takes place in the span of about 20-25 years, that still checks out. They’re nearing 90 but still going strong.

Oh, I want to ask about the mechanism of Tartan in remake version.
I still remember it was very time consuming just for making hybrid seeds due to old hardware model so what about the remake version?
Does the mixing process very fast and can we know if the mixing is success or failed ?
Also, if the mixing wasn't success, I will go to the hill where the Harvest Sprites will try to stop me and I said leave Forget Me Not valley in order to Load the game since there was no Load option in older games.

And Goodness knows
The wicked's lives are lonely
Goodness knows
The wicked die alone...

Eel

I don’t quite know anything about that.

Leaving the valley in this version simply works a way to skip forward in time.

Hm...
Sounds make a sense if I measure my kid's age as well.
Probably take 20 - 25 years in game to see my kid grow into young adult like myself before getting married.
I still curious why myself has been fated to die in mysterious sickness by the end of chapter 6 ?
It makes the ending so predictable.
At least it should shown myself with last energy say goodbye to my kid and my spouse before dying on the bed. My kid will cry on me, hugging me. And then the next scene shows a funeral, myself inside a glass coffin (too much Snow White, hehe), the peoples will cry on me then myself has been burried in graveyard, somewhere because there is no graveyard in Wonderful Life except Nina's tombstone.
It will be very dramatic dead scene.

@Anti-Matter we can perhaps interpolate that our character had a health condition to begin with, and moved to the valley because of it.

It simply caught up with them at the end. But we can also say that they did indeed manage to have a wonderful life in that short time.
