Revised egg count, playing eggstra work solo, 159 is my highest. For 5 waves I'm not sure that will get a medal. We'll see. Guesting that's bronze at best.

@Wolfleaf You're touching on a game flaw, I see. I think we need a "Help!" quick chat button full time in SR, not just for if we've died. In the meta for US region, here, sometimes I get teammates that don't kill lessers, and if I have a slow/weak weapon, they set me up for highly predictable, getting-overwhelmed & dying, or repeated deaths. And in cases like that, all I can do is to hit "This way!", which I don't think is appropriate.

But yeah, I've seen newbs spamming "This Way!" after they blunder into high risk, doomed situations that experienced players avoid. It took me a while to realize, they actually meant, "Help!, Help!, Help!".

I know Eggstra Work just ended but I simply had to share this: we're getting another Golden Rotation in less than a week's time!

Dang, I was pretty close to landing a Silver medal for Eggstra Work.

My record was 159 = bronze (I played solo)

Top 5% = 205+
Top 20% = 168+
Top 50% = 136+

I had AWFUL coworkers for EW. Only got to the 3rd wave once, with 58 eggs… then o just gave up.

@Fizza @WoomyNNYes Interesting, so it seems golden rotations are now a recurring event in the final month of a season (there was one in mid August on Jammin' Salmon Junction).

@CaleBoi25 Teammates for Eggstra Work were better on Saturday. On sunday, I got almost no veteran teammates. I failed EG often, with teammates that don't know how to use a roller for glowflies, or they couldn't handle the hazard level for waves 3 or 4.

On the topic of d-pad options, I think it would be nice if they added an ‘attack’ and ‘defend’ option in the ranked modes- it’s simple to understand and it encourages good decision making

I may have to see the team colors to decide.

edit: Ew, fist bump color. Gross. I get that it's skin color, but I think yellow or something else would look better. Sure, the color works for chocolate milk, but it's not chocolate milk.

The last thing I expected to hear this week was the return of regional Splatfests but I’m torn on what to pick. Hand shakes are formal but I love Shiver, fist bumps are fun and I usually just give hugs to my family. Although it may be good for the results from now on I hope Splatfests don’t stay regional permanently
@Croctopus Ugh I want the Deep Cut plushies so badly. I already have their amiibo preordered but their plushies are so cute, I want the Shiver one the most!

I was honestly creeped out in the September 2023 Splatfest announcement, when Deep Cut ended with their usual "get your votes in and your Splatfest tee", and then...nothing for a few seconds, prompting Frye to wonder why the camera's still running and Big Man suggesting that they unplug and NOT plug it back in (for humor)...and then BIG RUN announcement!
