Topic: Software error message

Hi, since the start of this week i keep getting a software error message when i try and play games on my switch. Im not sure whether it has something to do with the new animal crossing new horizons update or a switch software update. I have tried numerous things but it still keeps happening. I have only had my switch since Christmas and never have any problems with it.
Is anybody else having this problem or if you have any advice i would be really grateful.

It says " the software was closed because an error occurred " i got my switch brand new.

@Emmaj84 I have seen that error, but it's extremely rare. Haven't seen it lately. If the Switch offers an error code, you can plug the code into the search bar of Nintendo Support. You can find the meaning for most error codes that way, and potentially troubleshooting for the error.

Basic troubleshooting (disregard if you've done them. Just being thorough)
I'm assuming you've rebooted the switch (Some people keep their switch in sleep mode and never shut it down or reboot.)

Check if the error happens with other games, too.

If this is constant then take it back to the place you bought it and get a new one. Otherwise you will have to contact Nintendo Support about software issue on their Switch.
