Years ago, I loved to play both Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Star Wars on the Wii! I was somewhat disappointed to find that Nintendo has no intention of releasing such games on the new Wii U. As a Lego supporter and lover, the feeling of adventure and being able to un-lock a series of items in "Lego form" was much appreciated and quite fun in both games! I believe that these great and interesting games have been forgoten about and abandoned, I also believe that offering and producing new versions of these games, would be a huge hit for both Nintendo's revenue and the game players themselves!
Being completely honest, most Lego games are very similar, and besides Lego City Undercover (which is getting a remaster), remaking any of the Lego games wouldn't sell nearly as well as just making a new title in the franchise.
It looks like all new Lego games will release on the Nintendo Switch, so I believe that will be adequate.
It's not up to Nintendo, Traveller's Tales are the ones who made the games, it would be up to them to port it. They'd also need approval from the owners of the IPs to do so.
I think it would just make more sense to port Lego Dimensions... or a sequel, if they are going to do that. Maybe the sequel/Switch port could launch with a timed exclusive set (Star Wars?)
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Well... Lego Harry Potter was remastered for PS4, so TT redoing Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones is still a possibility. However, I would only expect them to promote future Star Wars / Indiana Jones movies. And like @DefHalan said, it would be much easier to add Star Wars / Indiana Jones material to Lego Dimensions, which I think is most likely going to happen now that Disney Infinity has been canned.

Heck yes!! I think it be amazing to play enhanced versions of the LEGO games that first came out. We loved those games, and I honestly miss them. Maybe Nintendo could just make them available for download on the eShop, that would cut production price down. I would buy them.

You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
