Hi,
Does anybody have any recommendations for a good advent;ure game that focuses more on exploration than combat. I don't mind some combat but prefer heavy exploration.

@LOVEZELDABOTW The Witcher 3. It has a lot of combat but exploring, talking with NPC's and unravelling the many tales of its enormous lands is the vast majority of the game. If you love BOTW and your user name suggests you do, you will TW3 for sure. It's similar to BOTW in many ways but with a more mature theme, more violent and darker story etc... It doesn't have the puzzles of Zelda either.

I can't recommend it enough.

@LOVEZELDABOTW ori and the blind forest hands down. Light on combat but high on exploration, and platforming if you like that

Super Mario Odyssey - 3D platformer with a focus on exploring small to mid sized, yet densly packed, worlds to find hundreds of power moons scattered about. Has enemies & bosses, but is less combat focused than BotW.

Dragon Quest Builders - Adventure RPG with a focus on exploring large worlds in order to gather resources to rebuild civilizations. There is the building aspect to it (which obviously is a huge part of it) which BotW didn't have, but you'll still be doing tons of exploring to gather new materials & find other secrets. Focus on combat is similar to BotW, but much more simple. While it's visually more appealing than Minecraft, it still has a similar blocky look going for it, if that puts you off at all (I was unsure of it myself at first, but ended up really liking the game).

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Admittedly combat is a huge part of it (way more in depth than BotW, with lots of potentially long lasting encounters) so it may not be for you, but I'd be remiss for not mentioning it. It has HUGE, beautiful, areas to explore with lots of secrets to find & sidequests to complete. Also note it's much more story heavy than BotW.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

LEGO Worlds is fun. The exploration side of it is fairly shallow, you just travel from planet to planet and explore each planet to see what new stuff you can find for your catalogue, but each time you discover a new animal it's fun cos you can ride about on most of them. If you like LEGO and the idea of having a LEGO sandbox at your fingertips it's good fun.
