Topic: Question about eShop sales

Just bought a Switch over the weekend and am loving it so far. Had a question about sales on the eShop. Previusly did all my gaming on the xbox, and on the xbox live store there are new deals every week. Every Tuesday there are new games on sale. Was wondering if there is something similar with the Nintendo eShop. Thanks.

Yes, if you open the eShop, you'll notice there's a section for games on sale in the main menu.

It has new games on sale every week or so.

On the Switch Eshop there is a Section that is labeled as Great Deals and it get's updated every Thursday at 12.00 Pm Eastern Time for me. But that section is mostly the same stuff every week with the same old shovelware junk, every now and then there are some good deals on games. Like right now there is rocket league, and some ubisoft games on sale this week.

I'll point out that I've sometimes seen items be put on sale off-cycle, too. I typically check every other day.

Capcom seems to have their games on sale every other month or so, too.

yes like already mentioned the on sale section does update often, havnet been able to determine a sequence liek PSN I knew it was tuesdays , but on the Switch its more random, like South Park and a bunch of Ubisoft games was added Tuesday and today Hollow Knight was added with a few other new ones
